Light cream of zucchini

Light cream of zucchini

I present you a soft and light courgette cream, loaded with properties and with very little fat. It is ideal as a first or as a dinner and can be taken hot or cold, depending on the time of year in which we are.

And it is also a very simple dish that is prepared in less than half an hour. What more could you want?

Of course, you can peel the courgettes if you prefer. I cook them with the skin (well washed) because that way we don't lose properties.

A little trick ... If when decorating your Butter You do not want the chips to fall to the bottom of the plate, you can first put the cheese flakes horizontally, as if it were a bed, and on them the ham and almonds.

And to accompany ... what do you think of a bread stick of the ones we did the other day? This way we will give a crisp and fun touch to the dish.

The bikini operation, with dishes like this one, becomes more bearable!

How rich !! I love zucchini, do you think I can add the semi milk? or light cream ?? Thanks

    1.    Ascend said

Of course! You can add the same weight of semi or even skimmed milk as zucchini and, before grinding, add a splash of cream.
It all depends on how "light" we want the cream
I hope you like the result!

In case of using soy milk or some vegetable milk, I wonder if it will be too watery. How to thicken it, in case my doubt is true, without using lactose?
    A greeting.

      Hi marcos,
This cream is quite light even with cow's milk (we often drink it in a glass ... but if you want to thicken it, I can think of some options:
-Remove the vegetable milk before grinding and add it as you consider
-substitute part of the zucchini for potato
-You could add cornstarch but I would try the two previous options first
What I don't know is how it will taste ... Please tell me how it will be when you do it.
      All the best

Hello!!! I love this cream, I always make it with skim milk. But today I have a package of oatmeal drink and I don't know how to use it because I don't like drinking it by itself. My question is… Can I substitute milk for oatmeal? In what easy and light recipes can I use it? Thank you!!!!!

      Hello Caty:
Of course you can use it, in this and in other creams that we have published. Even in baking, substituting cow's milk for oatmeal.
      Thanks for writing to us.
      A hug!
