Light strawberry jam

Light strawberry jam

Summer is approaching and we are already beginning with the purposes of taking care of ourselves in order to look like palm hearts. We started to cut down on unnecessary calories and get some exercise. Whatever it takes to be your best. Today I bring you a recipe that will help us achieve our goals without having to give up taste. A light strawberry jam with less than half sugar.

Taking advantage of the season of strawberries I have decided on a basic in the breakfast which, incidentally, is my favorite meal of the day. Surely that of many of you too. Freshly brewed coffee, toasted bread, oil, butter, jams ... A myriad of delicacies that everyone likes.

One of the main advantages it offers us Thermomix it is the possibility of making easily at home products that we usually buy already made in the supermarket. In this way we control the amount of ingredients and save some unwanted additives. You know, the feared preservatives y excess sugar.

In addition, when it comes to jams, it offers us the opportunity to make it with our favorite fruit. The limit is set by you. Today I bring you the classic strawberry jam but, what if we try to make one with Kiwi o pineapple? They are jams that are practically impossible to find in the market unless we investigate in gourmet areas.

Shall we go with her?

Video of the recipe Light strawberry jam

As always here I leave you a video-tutorial to show you the little difficulty of making this type of recipes with our Thermomix. It's just programming and forgetting. The result: a homemade jam with an intense flavor and half the sugar.

You will have noticed that the video lasts little more than one minute. That's how easy it is. Now I encourage you to try other fruits. The recipe would be exactly the same. You just have to substitute the amount in strawberries for the fruit you like.

What do you think? I hope you liked it a lot!

If so, do not forget to leave a finger above the video and subscribe to channel if you haven't already. So you will be up to date with everything that is cooking.

See you next week, cooks!

    The peach is spectacular ...
And I add a 150 gr apple to the strawberry so that the thickness point is adequate

Hello. I wanted to ask a question. I live in Austria and here the fruit is more expensive, more difficult to obtain and of poorer quality. To make smoothies and juices, I often use frozen fruit, which is usually cheaper, and I wanted to know if I could make jams with frozen fruit. I just made strawberry jam and bought it "cheap" at 4 euros per kilo. Maybe it seems cheap to you, but the cheapest artichokes they are is an artichoke at 1 euro and normally it is 2 euros. And many fruits such as kiwi or avocado are also sold by the unit at an exorbitant price. Of course, the apples are sooo rich and durable and at a good price.

I add two teaspoons of Agar-agar in addition to a peeled renieta apple and it has a phenomenal texture.
