El Limoncello It is a lemon liqueur of origin Italian taste which is usually taken in shots to liven up any dinner. I recently got a bottle as a gift at an event and I thought about giving it an alternative use. I thought about how good the cake is when we use lemon zest. How about using the limoncello to give the cake extra juiciness and create a spectacular icing?
The result is a very fluffy sponge cake with a very fresh lemon flavor and aroma. Ideal to accompany breakfast y snacks. Quite a success.
