Meringue milk

Meringue milk

Today, which is Sunday and it starts to smell like summer, I bring you the first of a series of drinks refreshing and cocktails summers that I am going to propose to you during the next hot months. It is a meringue milk, very easy to make and with a fantastic result. I have tried several recipes, but the one that I liked the most is this one that I saw in spoon speed.

If you have the ingredients at home, try it now, for a snack or for dessert. And if you are missing any (like the milk powder, which is more difficult to have on hand), look at this recipe for milk with cinnamon and lemon which also comes out delicious.

Hi! powdered milk is essential? can it be substituted for another ingredient? I am intolerant to cow's milk (and cow derivatives) and I cannot drink that type of milk. thank you

Hello Ana. You can remove the powdered milk, but it will lose a lot of flavor. There is powdered goat milk, it may be right for you I hope so. A hug!

hello good morning, the milk sure is 200 ml, won't it be 2000? I made it yesterday with those amounts and it has been a sugar paste… .it does not come out or liquid, I added 200 more milk and you can drink it but I still have the feeling that you lack milk.

      Hi Yol:

Remember that to the 200 ml of milk you have to add the 800 g of ice.

      Regards!

The meringue milk brings the egg whites to the point of snow, that is, meringue. Hence the meringue. And it never takes water.Your recipe is missing the meringue and it has excess ice, naturally. It is not meringue milk. What you make is a prepared milk. Greetings

Totally agree. I have tried it and it has been disastrous. I think I'm not going to follow any more blog recipes. I have a super dense dough and then with the cubes it has been a slushie, but it only tasted like powdered milk. Disgusting, now it's down the drain

With 200 milk at 100 speed 2, the thermomix almost burned, only the cinnamon stick and the milk lemon remained, what is wrong with the recipe?

Hello Ana, thank you first for the recipe, but I have had problems, when you cook the milk, do you get a minimum amount? I do not weigh it but I eat 50 grams or less and when I have returned to exaggerate everything I have had to add some 150 g of milk, it has not been very good, is it normal when you cook the milk? And can it be that it is left with lumps at the end of the preparation?
K pity because I love meringue milk.
    Thanks in advance.
