This Valentine's Day! surprise your partner with an Oreo hot chocolate… he won't be able to resist its taste !!

Yes, I know this recipe is a bomb but a bomb of real chocolate where nuances and textures play their role. And it is that, details like these, are the ones that make us the happiest.

This recipe is made especially for lovers of chocolate, of the Oreo cookies… Or for those with a sweet tooth. A super easy to make whim that will fall at your feet.

A simple recipe with which you will make your partner fall in love.

Oreo hot chocolate

Ingredients

  • 150 g whipping cream (minimum 35% mg)
  • 100 g of Oreo cookies (or similar gluten-free)
  • 500 g of milk (350 g + 150 g)
  • 50 g dark chocolate
  • Oreo cookies to decorate
  • Chocolate sauce (optional)
  • Colored sprinkles (optional)

Preparation

  1. We put the butterfly on the blades and we mount the cream by programming speed 3 1/2 without time. The time will depend on the quality of the cream, how cold it is.

  2. Once assembled, we stop the machine, remove it and reserve it in the fridge until the end of the process.

  3. Without washing the glass, we put the broken Oreo cookies and pulverize them during 5 seconds, speed 4.

  4. Add 350 g of milk and heat for 7 minutes, 90º, speed 1.

  5. After the time, we distribute in 2 glasses or cups.

  6. Without washing the glass, we put the dark chocolate and pour the remaining 150 milk. We melt it for 3 minutes, 37º, speed 3.

  7. After the time, we pour the chocolate into the glasses or cups. We will do it with care so as not to stain the cups on the outside and so that the layers do not mix excessively.

  8. Top the chocolates with the whipped cream that we had reserved and decorate with pieces of Oreo cookies, chocolate sauce, etc.

  9. We serve right away.

Notes

For an even faster version we can do step 3 and 6 at the same time. You just have to pulverize the chocolate and the cookies for 5 seconds, speed 4. Add all the milk and heat for 7 minutes, 90º, speed 1. We distribute the chocolate in the cups, top with the whipped cream and decorate with the cookies and the chocolate sauce.

As you can see in the photos, the Oreo cookies are not the authentic ones. We have used its gluten-free version to make it suitable for celiacs.

If you follow the recipe to the letter, you will get layers of different colors to form in your Oreo hot chocolate. It looks spectacular in plan «Degradé» with chocolate tones ranging from the most intense to milk chocolate.

But if you go without time and want a faster version you can do step 3 and 6 at the same time. The chocolate will be with a uniform color but I assure you that it is just as good.

Do not dispense with the whipped cream to decorate this recipe. Since you are going to do a excess with your diet let it be in style ... a day is a day.

To finish off the decoration I have used Oreo cookie pieces and chocolate sauce but you can also use chocolate shavings or colored sprinkles.

Do not doubt heat the cups with hot water so that they take up temperature and that the chocolate does not get cold when served.
