French toast bread

The eastern and always around this time we remember one of the desserts most in demand at that time: the longed-for French toast.

Torrijas is one of the best use recipes. It occurred to someone one day to make them so as not to throw away our excess bread and it becomes stale. Although it is true that we are doing them less and less as an excuse not to throw away the bread. Many times we buy the pan to do them expressly. Today I suggest you this recipe indicated so that the torrijas come out perfect.

It is a bread of compact crumb and something sweet. After removing the piece from the oven and waiting for it to cool, we will notice its firmness when cutting the different slices. I recommend that you keep a couple of them for breakfast and that you try them toast with butter and jam or with whatever you like the most. It's delicious!

Pan for torrijas. A recipe for sweet and compact homemade bread indicated for the preparation of this classic dessert of use.

Ingredients

• 600 g of bread flour
• 1 sachet of dry baker's yeast or 25 g of fresh yeast
• 1 tablespoon honey
• 1 pinch of salt
• 350g milk

Preparation

1. We pour the milk, honey and yeast into the glass and program 2 minutes, temperature 37º and speed 2.

2. We activate the scale and add half of the flour (300g). Mix by programming 15 seconds at speed 6.

3. Incorporate the rest of the flour together with the pinch of salt and knead programming 4 minutes at spike speed.

4. We remove the dough from the glass and shape it into an elongated loaf of bread. We place it on a baking tray covered with baking paper. We mark with a knife the slices that we will later cut to make the torrijas. Cover with a cloth and let it rise for 30 minutes.

5. We preheat the oven to 200º, with heat up and down and bake for about 30 minutes. We are monitoring so that it is to our liking.
