Noodles with tomato sauce, anchovies and black olives

Today we go with a classic of Italian cuisine, but with our personal touch: alla puttanesca noodles with a touch of bell pepper. Pasta alla putannesca is a typical recipe from central Italy and super easy to prepare. It is actually prepared with very basic ingredients (olive oil, tomato, anchovies, olives, capers and aromatic herbs) so the key will be that these ingredients are of the highest quality.

I really like to use canned diced tomato for tomato sauces because it gives the sauces more body. But if you don't have one, you can use crushed tomato as well.

And as aromatic herbs for pasta, I love to use fresh basil and oregano. They are super aromatic and add a touch to the dishes that transport you directly to Italy.
