Spicy potatoes

Mmmm going to tapas, cañas and bars is something fabulous. However, they tend to eat fairly high-calorie dishes with a lot of saturated fat and cholesterol. So how about we make some thematic recipes of typical Spanish tapas? Well we will start with these potatoes with brava sauce, so present in all the bars in Spain. And if accompanied with these express montaditos, we will have a delicious dinner.

It is a very good option for children (if we reduce the spiciness) and for people who follow vegan diets or Vegetarian.

Delicious tapas with brava sauce, totally homemade, ideal for tapas dinner. Ideal for vegans or vegetarians.

Ingredients

  • 3 large potatoes, diced
  • 500 gr of water
  • 1 / 2 teaspoon salt
  • 30 gr of extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of hot paprika
  • 1 / 2 chilli
  • 1/2 teaspoon of tabasco
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 / 2 teaspoon of sugar
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of vinegar
  • 150 gr of crushed tomato
  • Oil for frying potatoes

Preparation

  1. We put the water and salt in the glass. We put the basket and the potatoes inside. We program 15 minutes, varoma temperature, speed 1. We let the potatoes drain into the basket and dry the glass.

  2. Add the 30 g of oil, the paprika, the cumin, the chilli, the garlic, the tabasco and the vinegar to the glass. We shred 4 seconds, speed 6.

  3. We add the crushed tomato, salt and sugar. We program 5 minutes, 100º, speed 1.

  4. While we cook the tomato, we put oil in a frying pan over high heat and when it has heated up enough (without it getting to smoke), we add the potatoes and cook over high heat until golden brown.

  5. We drain them on absorbent paper and add salt.

  6. We place in a serving dish and pour the brava sauce on top.

    I really liked these potatoes, the idea of ​​cooking them for a few minutes is great. The brava sauce is very soft and affordable in flavor for the general public, I will suppress the paprika on another occasion, I do not digest it well, in my case I chose to crush it at the end 10 seconds speed 8 so that the consistency was smoother. Also accompany this tapa with another sauce, the Delux shared by Ascen and that is delicious, so there are two sauces to be able to choose or combine flavors, a delight as a whole. Simple but well-prepared and homemade dishes are delicacies, thanks to your help, I am learning a lot. Thank you!!
