Ingredients

For the spider:

  • Shortbread or puff pastry
  • Star anise or peppercorns

For soup:

  • 30 g of spring onion
  • 65 g carrot
  • 10 g of celery
  • 30 g oil
  • 100 g of diced cooked ham
  • 1000 g of broth
  • 240g peas (can be frozen)
  • Sal Island

Preparation

  1. We prepare the dough spider (or spiders) using a knife to cut the legs. Supporting the spider / s on greaseproof paper, we place them on the saucepan or on the individual bowls if we prefer that each one have their spider. It is important that the containers are oven safe.

    Bake for a few minutes (approximately 10) until the dough is golden brown. We take out and reserve.

  2. We put the onion, carrot and celery in the glass. We program 5 seconds, speed 5. We lower with the spatula what has remained on the walls of the glass.

  3. Add the oil and the cooked ham. we program 5 minutes, 120 °, left turn, spoon speed.

  4. We add the peas and the hot broth. We program 45 minutes, 100 °, left turn, speed 1.

  5. We pour our soup into the saucepan or serve it in individual bowls. We cover with the dough spider or spiders.
