Pear cakes with Thermomix

Are you one of those who celebrate Valentine's Day!? I celebrate it in my own way; I don't usually buy big gifts but I do like to make special recipes or prepare some trinkets like these Pear cupcakes with a heart shape.

These in particular I have taken to the office to break the routine a bit and boy have they been successful! They are mild in flavor, made with natural products and easy to find.

Another thing that I liked about the recipe is that they come out few units. And they have come in handy because I don't always need to make a dozen or a dozen and a half cupcakes. Thus they are consumed in a short space of time and do not even become ugly or hard.

If you're Beginners and you want to surprise with a snack without complicating your head you will only have to prepare them and accompany it with a hot chocolate… It will surrender to your feet!

The pear cupcakes can be prepared for a snack or to take to the office. With this recipe you get 6 delicious units of soft sponge cake

Ingredients

  • Egg whites 2
  • 75 g icing sugar
  • 35 g flour
  • 35 g of peeled raw almonds
  • 30 butter g
  • 15 g honey
  • 1 pear
  • brown sugar (optional)

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180º, heat up and down. No fan.

  2. Melt the butter in the microwave but do not bring it to a boil. Let it cool down.

  3. Put the almonds in a glass and program 10 seconds, speed 7. Remove and reserve.

  4. Without washing the glass add the egg whites and sugar. Mix without beating during 1 minute, speed 2. Then add the sifted flour and the ground almonds. Program 1 minute, speed 2. Incorporate honey and reprogram 1 minute, speed 2. Add the melted butter and mix for 1 minute at speed 1. Finish mixing with the spatula.

  5. Pour the dough into heart-shaped molds. I have used silicone ones. Fill them only 3/4 full.

  6. Wash the pear and cut it into thin slices. Cut out 6 hearts with a small cookie cutter. Place one on top of each mold and put them in the oven for 18-20 minutes.

  7. When they are golden brown, remove them and sprinkle some grains of brown sugar on top that will melt with the heat, forming nice drops. Serve preferably accompanied by a hot drink.
