Piadina in Thermomix

I do not know if you have been lucky enough to try a good piadina… If the answer is yes, surely you will be happy to see in the video how easy it is to make the dough. And if you do not know this dish, do not hesitate to prepare it because you are going to love it.

At home it is the usual dinner on Saturdays and each one fills their piadina with the ingredients you prefer. There are a lot of possibilities.

It is typical of northern Italy, so much so that there are places dedicated exclusively to them: just as there are pizzarias there are "piadinerías".

Ingredients

• 250 g of milk
• 100 g of lard
• 500 g of wheat flour
• 1 level teaspoon baking soda
• 10 g of salt

Preparation

1. We put the milk and butter in the glass. We program 1 minute, 37º, speed 3.

2. We add the flour, the baking soda and the salt. We program 2 minutes, spike speed.

3. We put the dough on the worktop and compact it with our hands.

4. We divide the dough into 6 more or less equal portions and cover them with film.

5. We stretch each portion on the countertop, with a rolling pin and adding a little flour if we consider it necessary. We are reserving them by covering them with film.

6. Cook the piadines in a non-stick frying pan, over medium-low heat, one at a time.

7. When cooking the piadina they will come out like bubbles (you can see it in the video)… it will be time to turn it over so that it cooks and browns the other side as well.
