The good thing about this recipe is that you can adapt it to your tastes. It is perfect to take advantage of cooked potatoes or vegetables like broccoli or cauliflower. It looks good with everything.

The one you see in the photo is potato. Also has onion so the taste is reminiscent of the traditional Spanish potato omlette but with an addition: the base. We will prepare that base in a moment using our kitchen robot. You can see everything in the video that you will find at the end of the recipe.

Ingredients

For the mass:

  • 140g cold butter
  • 220 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 50 g of water

For the filling:

  • 70 g Parmesan
  • 120 g of onion in pieces
  • 300 g of potatoes already cooked
  • 4 eggs
  • 100g milk
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • Some ground black pepper

Preparation

  1. We preheat the oven to 180 °. We prepare the mold by greasing it with a little butter if necessary.

  2. We put the flour, butter, salt, yolk and water in the glass. We program programming 20 seconds, speed 4. We put the dough on the worktop and roll it out with a rolling pin.

  3. We place the extended dough on our mold and prick it with a fork.

  4. To prepare the filling, we pour the Parmesan into the glass. We program 10 seconds, speed 7. We take out and reserve.

  5. We now put the onion in the glass and program 3 seconds, speed 7.

  6. Place the chopped potatoes on the quiche dough. On the potatoes we put the chopped onion.

  7. We put the eggs, milk, salt and pepper in the glass. We program 20 seconds, speed 4. We distribute this mixture over the onion and the potato.

  8. Bake at 180 ° for 30 minutes or until the cake is golden brown.
