Who has not ever thought that the microwave oven It only serves to warm the milk for breakfast?… I have to admit, I think about it very often. And it makes me very angry to have devices at home and not take full advantage of them.

So in today's proposal, in addition to our Thermomix, we are going to use the microwave that will help us roast the potatoes Too much faster.

The recipe is one that can be prepare to taste each. You can change the bacon for serrano ham, the onion for leek, the butter for oil. Even oregano can be substituted for parsley, rosemary or thyme, the combinations are endless!

Ingredients

  • 2 potatoes of about 200 - 250 g each
  • 100 g onion
  • 100 g of bacon
  • 2 tablespoons of Emmental cheese, grated
  • 30 butter g
  • Butter for gratin
  • Salt, pepper and oregano

Preparation

  1. Wash the skin of the potatoes well and dry with kitchen paper. Chop them in several places with a fork and put them in the microwave for 4 or 5 minutes. Then turn them over and schedule another 4 or 5 minutes. When the time is up, check that they are soft and wrap them in aluminum foil, sealing the joints very well. Eye that burns a lot!

  2. While the potatoes are resting, peel the onion and place it in quarters in the glass. Chop it during 3 seconds at speed 4. Add the butter and program 8 minutes, 100º and speed 1.

  3. Unwrap the potatoes and peel them. Make a horizontal cut in the upper part, as if it were a lid, and extract part of the pulp taking care that the potato does not break.

  4. Add the potato pulp, both the one we have extracted and the one we have cut, to the glass along with the bacon. Season and sauté during 1 minute, Varoma temperature, speed 1 and turn left. It will be as if it were a kind of puree.

  5. Fill the potatoes with the mixture from the glass. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top and put a few points of butter. Gratin in the microwave until golden brown.

  6. Sprinkle a little oregano and serve right away.

Notes

Depending on the kind of potatoes we use, the filling mixture may be very thick. If this happens, it can be lightened by adding a splash of milk.
