Although we are officially in summer in many areas the temperatures are no longer so high. Especially at night it refreshes enough to make them feel like it. Hot dishes. So let's get back to the healthy habit of drinking soups, creams and consommés.

To start I have chosen a cream of bird and carrots, of Smooth flavor and whose elaboration has no secret.

This is a good recipe to give out the carrots that you have in the freezer, especially those who have their own garden and have had a good harvest.

On the other hand, in the use of poultry broth, you can use the one that is bought already made although I prefer the Homemade. It is always richer and healthier.

Now that it starts to cool off at night, I recommend this soft and simple cream of poultry and carrots with a spicy touch of cumin and coriander.

Ingredients

  • 400 g carrots
  • 150 g onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 400 g poultry broth
  • 200 g of cream for cooking
  • 30 g olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper
  • Chopped cilantro

Preparation

  1. Scrape, wash and chop the carrots. Put them in the glass and chop them during 15 seconds at speed 4. Remove and reserve.

  2. Peel and coarsely chop the onion and garlic clove. Pour them into the glass and add the olive oil, chop during 5 seconds at speed 5. Then schedule 8 minutes, 100º, speed 1 to poach it.

  3. After time add the reserved carrots and cumin. Program 10 minutes, 100º, speed 1.

  4. Add the broth and cream, program 7 minutes, 90º, speed 1.

  5. At the end of the time, wait for the glass to lose temperature and then grind for 1 minute, progressive speed 5-7-9.

  6. Season to taste and reheat for 2 minutes, 100º, speed 1.

  7. Serve in bowls or deep plates decorated with the chopped cilantro not very often and serve immediately
