Pumpkin pie for Christmas

pumpkin-pie-for-christmas

It will be for almonds but the truth is that this cake tastes like nougat, like egg yolk nougat. That is why it is another of our suggestions for this Christmas. Carry pumpkin, a lot of pumpkin, hence the nice orange color it has. It also has no lactose.

The pumpkin I have used is variety Delica. I roast it whole and then use the pulp to make desserts or to take it as it comes out of the oven. It tastes like chestnut to me ...

Returning to the cake ... the base we will cook first and then, after putting the cream on top, we will put our dessert in the oven. It is important that you keep it in the fridge because cold it is very tasty and because cooked pumpkin always has to be kept in the fridge.

      Hello Julio,
I wanted to put "baking in white", it has been a misprint that is now corrected.
      All the best

    Hello,

    Another fantastic pumpkin recipe.

I would like to know if you can make a version without a pie base in flan molds.

    Thank you.

    Greetings.

I think so, Salva. Try because it sure looks good on you. It will be even easier.
      A hug!

Hello and thanks for the recipe.
Can you make the base one day, bake it, and the next day the cream?
Or the cake from one day to the next and leave it in the fridge?
