With the hot weather, I was looking for a simple dessert that didn't need an oven for a long time in the kitchen. And I found this queso flan, which curdles with curd. It is delicious and is a great dessert for a Sunday like today.
You can accompany it with the traditional Liquid candy or with a strawberry, raspberry, blueberry jam ...

Well, you tell us, Roberto. But I predict total success (no crystal ball or cards or anything) A hug!
I love these types of recipes, rich and easy, that don't take time away from you and if family or friends show up at home, you have a quick dessert to make. Thanks for your recipes. I love your page. Greetings.
Thank you very much, Mar. Sometimes, these simple recipes are appreciated, right? especially now in summer. Thanks for being there. A kiss!
Thank you for trusting her! A hug!
Yesterday I made the recipe, and it is good, but… ..Is it not too thick? I thought it could be used to make a cake of those based on cookies and then jam on top, right?
Or shouldn't it be so thick and I did something wrong?
Great idea, Raúl! It will be great as a cake.
You sure have done everything correctly. The flan is thick, with a texture like curd, but firm, with shape, as in the photo. Do you look like this? A hug!
Thank you! A hug
Hello Laura. I made it in flannels, of the disposable aluminum ones, maybe there the difference in the quantities, a glass of yogurt is bigger. But I do remember pouring it into them from the glass, it was not as thick as you say. I have gone over the amounts and they are correct… I hope the result was finally good anyway. and tell me. A kiss!
Hello Sonia! This next week I'll make the recipe again to see if I solve the mystery of the solid texture (it looks like the title of a crime novel). Maybe I weighed the amounts wrong (it can be). If so, adding more milk would solve it. Regarding the quantities, my flaneras are 60 ml. If yours are bigger, there would be the key. Do not worry about being a novice, the logical thing is that by following the recipes, everything will work out the first time. If it fails, it is because something is wrong. I will remake it and I will tell you. Thanks for your notice. A kiss!
Hello! As some of you told me that the cheese flan had come out very thick, I did it again yesterday in case I had made a mistake in the measurements. And it is true that, before setting, it is somewhat thick, but once set, the texture is correct. If you like it a little more juicy, you can put 300 grams of milk instead of 250. Regarding the units that come out, I got 8 in containers for flan, of approximately 60 ml per flanera. If you put it in taller containers, such as yogurt or curd, less come out and the texture is not the same either. I hope you like it. In my house, it was a success again. A hug!
Hello Vero! I haven't seen your comment until now. Is that the units are measured for flan. Mine are about 60 ml per flan, that's why I get 8. In the yoghurt ones, there is room for more and less. How did they taste? Did you like them? A hug!
Hi Ana,
