There are no more excuses, you can already prepare one Rice pudding cake very good and even pretty. In the video you will see how to make it and in the usual recipe card you also have all the steps to follow.

But I will give you a summary. It's a cake without oven since the base is the traditional biscuit and butter that in this case we personalize with ground cinnamon. The soft layer is made, how could it be otherwise, with rice pudding, yes, with curd.

In the video you will see a little Turk that may help you even when you do the traditional rice pudding (is at minute 2:25)

I love to have this cake with natural yogurt, as seen in the photo. I hope you guys also like it.

Pretty, easy to prepare, and delicious. It has a biscuit base, flavored with cinnamon, although the main character is rice pudding and curd. Serve it with natural yogurt and red fruits ... you are going to love it.

Ingredients

For the cookie base:

  • 200 g of biscuits
  • 85 g butter at room temperature
  • 3 g ground cinnamon

For the rice pudding:

  • 100 g of rice
  • 750g milk
  • Cinnamon stick
  • 50g cold milk
  • 1 envelope of curd (Royal type)
  • 55 g of sugar

Preparation

  1. We put the cookies in the glass and crush them for 5 seconds at speed 10.

  2. We add the butter at room temperature and program 5 seconds, speed 5.

  3. Add the ground cinnamon and program again 5 seconds, speed 5.

  4. We put this mixture in a removable mold of about 28 cm in diameter and, with the tumbler, we crush the mixture that we have just prepared well. Let it cool in the refrigerator, at least 1 hour.

  5. We wash the glass and prepare the rice pudding. To do this we fit the butterfly on the blades. We add the rice and milk. We put the cinnamon stick in a tea bag (as seen in the video from minute 2:25) and we also put it in the glass. We program 30 minutes, 90º, spoon speed.

  6. After that time we remove the bag with the cinnamon and add the sugar. We schedule now 5 minutes, 90º, speed 1.

  7. We take advantage of this time to dissolve our curd envelope in 50 g of cold milk. After 5 minutes we add our mixture of curd and milk to the rice pudding. We program again 5 minutes, 90º, speed 1.

  8. We put it back in the refrigerator where it will be at least 4 hours before taking it to the table.

  9. At the moment of serving we decorate it to our liking. One option is to use red berries, some fresh mint leaves and pistachios.

  10. We serve as we like best: with red fruits, natural yogurt, cream ice cream ...

    The tea bag trick, great. Where can they be bought? Or is it useful to empty one of the ones that carry the tea?

      Empty a tea bag that you have at home. The string of that same bag will help you tie it 😉
      Lemon and orange peel do not usually unravel for me. Mind you, I put it in a big strip. Does it come undone for you?
