Rice pudding with orange

Here is my recipe for rice pudding with orange.

Surely most of you have done this traditional dessert as it appears in the basic book or on our page. But today's proposal is slightly different.

The one I present to you is less compact than the usual one and has, in my opinion, the seamless texture. And that we are not going to put neither butter nor egg ... You will tell me what you think!

It is not too heavy because we will not put butter on it and yet its texture is most pleasant. Try this rice pudding because you will love it.

Ingredients

  • 750 g whole milk
  • 100 g of round rice
  • The skin of 1 orange, only the orange part and better if it is the skin of a biological orange (if you can, cut the skin into a long strip, so it will be easier to remove it from the glass later)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 80 g of sugar

Preparation

  1. We put the butterfly in the glass. Now we put the milk, the rice, the orange peel and the cinnamon stick. We program 30 minutes, 90º, speed 1.

  2. When the time is up, with the help of a fork, remove the orange peel and the cinnamon stick.

  3. Now add the sugar and program 10 minutes, 90º, speed 1.

  4. We serve in individual glasses or in a large platter. We cover each container with plastic wrap or aluminum foil so that the surface does not dry out and let it cool. Decorate with cinnamon and, if we want, with orange peel.

      I think you can multiply them by two. Try 1,5l of milk, see what happens.
