Some of our vacations are over… what a pity! So it's time to go back to work, to schedules, to routines and… to cook !! So to start the new stage on the right foot, I wanted to share this special recipe with you. I owe it to the reader Maria Faisán B., friend and follower, whom I thank for inspiring me to make this wonderful version of your recipe for white rice with natural tomato sauce.

It is a fresh salad, with a juicy and very pleasant texture and full of flavor. The combination of tomato, lime and mint It is spectacular to me. We used long rice Because it is very appropriate for making salads, but a basmati or jasmine rice would work great (be careful with the cooking times of the latter because they are shorter).

It is interesting about this recipe that it can be prepared in advance because the sauce makes it stay juicy days later. So if you want to save time in the kitchen or you need to take it in a tupper to work or to the beach, it is a perfect option.
