This is one of those recipes that you can make if you want to prepare a different garnish. It's a rice with natural tomato, carrot and dried tomatoes, very simple.

I don't know if you use the dried tomatoes. I use them to make broth, in rice dishes, with mince, in salads ... I like them because they have an intense flavor that enhances the flavor of many preparations.

Simple rice garnish to accompany meat or fish. With tomatoes, carrots and dried tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 70 g onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 200 g of fresh tomatoes
  • 40 g of extra virgin olive oil
  • 360 g of rice
  • 80 g carrot in small cubes
  • Sal Island
  • 1 liter of water
  • 3 dehydrated tomatoes

Preparation

  1. We put the garlic, onion and tomatoes (fresh ones) in the glass. We chop by programming 5 seconds, speed 5.

  2. We add the oil and program 5 minutes, varoma temperature, speed 1.

  3. We add the rice, the carrot, the salt and the water. We program 7 minutes, 100º, left turn, speed 1.

  4. Without having to open the glass, add the chopped dehydrated tomatoes. We program 10 minutes, 100º, left turn, speed 1.

    Hello,

    dehydrated tomatoes where they sell them? Why can they be replaced? I live in the US and I have not seen them.
    I am looking for simple recipes to make rice for children.

    Hello good day,
    I wanted to ask if the recipe can be made without the dried tomatoes. If so, do I keep the last step the same, that of 10 minutes at 100º left turn speed 1?

      Yes, yes, sure, although it will taste much milder.
