Sundried tomato and almond meatballs in Spanish sauce

Another meatball! After the success of the chicken apple meatballs published by Mayra, I bring you today some tasty stuffed meatballs of dried tomatoes and almonds and served with a rich Spanish sauce.

This recipe is inspired by some meat rolls he made Karlos Arguiñano I love their recipes! I liked the idea and I turned it into meatballs. And I also decided to do them because I did not know the spanish sauce (What a crime!) And I was surprised by its taste. It is very good.

And the best thing about meatballs is that, although it is a bit laborious to make them, then it is very grateful because they spread a lot. You can freeze in a tupper and then nothing else is to defrost, heat, and enjoy !!

You can accompany with chips or rice. And, above all, with a lot of bread to dip in the delicious sauce!

20 dried tomatoes? It's not much? Is it 20 grams?

Hello Olga, I bought mine at Mercadona and they are very small, they are like a chickpea… but hey that goes in taste… you can miss it if yours are bigger.

helloaaaa, today I made them, very good by the way and the Spanish vice sauce, I made it but with brandy, onion and carrot and I used it to make meat in a roll. The little problem I had was that the sauce overflowed outside the thermomix, has the same thing happened to you? I added the same amount of ingredients that you have put in the recipe. A big kiss

Hello beautiful, I am very glad that you liked them. What has your sauce overflowed on? How strange, it has not happened to me. But thanks for telling me, I'm going to change the amounts now reducing them a little ... just in case ... so that it doesn't happen to anyone else. It's nice with you !! This is how we all learn. A kiss for you too.

Great! I have made them with ground turkey and chicken. In addition, I had whole dried tomatoes, I have added 4 but still with 3 it would have been enough. The sauce very well, it stays about half the glass (I don't know if it's because you've changed the amounts, but it's far from overflowing).

Hello Olga, what good news! I'm really glad you liked them. you know what? Next time I'm going to make it with turkey and chicken, they are sure to be delicious. I reduced the amounts based on what Violeta told me, so if you tell me that you have been fantastic, I am very happy. Thank you pretty!

Thank you! The proportion of sauce that comes out is ideal for the amount of meatballs (I like that there is a little left over to scrape the plate with bread, haha). And with the filling they come out very tasty, so it goes very well with chicken / turkey, which always have less flavor.
        I will repeat!

Hello, could someone tell me where the canned dried tomatoes are in the market, where the vegetables? Yesterday I went crazy and I was not able to find them !! hahaha. Thank you all very much !!!

Hello Alba, it took me a lot to find them too. They are in small, transparent bags, where the fruit and vegetables. Lucky!!
