Apple, roquefort and walnut sandwich

It had been a long time since I prepared a sandwich pasta, so I have rescued the apple, roquefort and walnuts

The combination of flavors which are enhanced thanks to the acidity of the apple, so it is important to use a kind that is not too sweet. I usually go for the Granny Smith. I have to admit that its intense green color attracts me a lot, although it also influences that it is easy to find in supermarkets and that it has a very crunchy texture.

This creamy pasta will surprise you with its nuances. The spicy touch is provided by the roquefort, the acidic apple and the mild walnuts.

Ingredients

• 200 g cheese spread
• 100 g of Roquefort cheese
• 6 peeled walnuts
• ½ Granny Smith apple
• lemon juice

Preparation

1. Put the peeled walnuts in the glass and chop them during 3 seconds at speed 4. Remove and reserve.

2. Peel the apple and cut it into large pieces. Sprinkle it with a splash of lemon juice so it doesn't rust. Drain and reserve.

3. Place the butterfly on the blades. Put the two cheeses in the glass and mix for 30 seconds, speed 3.

4. Remove the butterfly and add the apple. Program 10 seconds, speed 3. Lower the chips onto the blades.

5. Add the reserved walnuts and mix during 5 seconds, speed 2, left turn. Finish mixing with the spatula. Put in a bowl and chill in the fridge.

6. At the time of serving you can also use toast or crackers.
