Salmon papillote with vegetables

The salmon papillote with vegetables is an ideal recipe for beginners since, although it has more than 5 ingredients, it is very simple and we will also learn two different culinary techniques.

The first one is paper; It is a cooking technique in which food is wrapped in paper to promote cooking. For this we can use both aluminum foil or baking paper. And with the Varoma we will have it ready in about 25 minutes. 

On the other hand we have a food cutting technique. Surely you have ever seen in cookbooks that talk about cutting brunoise. It is the cut that is practiced on fruits and vegetables, forming small squares of about 3 or 4 cm on each side. It is not the simplest cut but it gives the dish a quality presentation.

And speaking of presentation; take advantage of the Varoma to prepare some zucchini rolls first course. And for dessert one mousse and you will have a menu worthy of any trendy restaurant.

    The recipe looks great, but I have a question. For the pepper, potato and zucchini, it seemed to me that I understood that speed 1 is used, are they not crushed?

      Hi carmen,

      With speed 1 it is perfect but if you want you can put spoon speed or even the left turn.

    Ains..the recipe is fine. My problem is that I don't like salmon at all .. = I do it when I have guests even though I don't taste it .. hahaha. What other fish would go well with? Thanks greetings

      Of course you can change the fish. Try hake, turbot, monkfish ... whatever you want!

      You just have to keep in mind that these softer fish will be made earlier so prolong the preparation of the vegetables for a couple of minutes and reduce the cooking time in the Varoma.
