At home we really like green peas and although most of the time we prepare them as an accompaniment we also usually prepare them as principal ingredient as for example in this aromatic pea cream.
To make this recipe we have used a Bouquet Garni. It is a very typical element of the most traditional cuisine and without which we will not achieve the same results, even if it is no more than a coffin made from bay leaf, thyme and parsley. It can be bought in greengrocers but it is also very easy to do it at home, we just have to take a bay leaf, a branch of thyme and parsley and tie it with kitchen string.
You can include the aromatic pea cream to prepare a light dinner because, although peas are legumes, they provide few calories and many benefits.

Do not forget to remove the bouquet garni and the cloves before crushing the cream.
