Ingredients

  • 180 g of unsalted butter
  • 90 g of dark fondant chocolate
  • 90 g of chocolate fondant with milk
  • 110 g white fondant chocolate
  • 210 g of sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 375 g flour
  • 12 g of chemical yeast (Royal type)
  • 100 g orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons of honey

Preparation

  1. We preheat the oven to 180º. I usually use the fan function, but if you don't have it, put heat up and down.

  2. We put the butterfly, the sugar and the eggs in the glass. We program 5 minutes, speed 3 1/2.

  3. While we have the eggs and sugar in the thermomix ...

    We put the butter and the chocolates in a bowl. We put it in the microwave at 500w for 3 minutes. We stir in half. If at the end of the time the chocolate has not yet melted, we program a few more seconds. When finished, we take out and stir with a silicone spatula or some rods.

  4. We put the mixture of butter and melted chocolates in the glass and mix 15 seconds, speed 3½. We remove the butterfly.

  5. We put the sifted flour and yeast in the glass. We program 10 seconds at speed 3.

  6. We brush the chosen mold with melted butter, margarine or oil on all the edges and corners very well (so we will not have problems when unmolding) and sprinkle a thin layer of flour with a strainer.

     

  7. We put the cake batter that we had in the mold. We tap the mold against the worktop a couple of times so that it is distributed evenly throughout the mold. We place on a rack at medium height in the oven and We bake 35 minutes at 175º. 

    We check with a long thin knife or toothpick that it is already cooked inside. We withdraw. We wait 10 minutes to unmold.

     

  8. In the microwave we put the 100 g of orange juice and the 2 tablespoons of honey in a glass. We heat in the microwave 30 seconds, full power. We stir with a spoon.

  9. We prick the surface of the cake with a fork and slowly water the surface with a spoon with the syrup, well distributed until the entire cake is covered. We let it temper and that's it!
