Ingredients

  • 300 g of sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 g butter at room temperature
  • 200 g of liquid cream
  • 350 g of pastry flour
  • 1 sachet of chemical yeast
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Sugar to sprinkle the surface

Preparation

  1. We preheat the oven to 200º.

  2. We place the butterfly on the blades. We put the sugar and eggs in the glass and program 5 minutes, 37º, speed 3.

  3. We reschedule 5 minutes, speed 3, but this time without temperature. We remove the butterfly from the blades.

  4. Add the butter in pieces and mix for 15 seconds at speed 2.

  5. We incorporate the cream and program again 15 seconds, speed 2.

  6. We add the flour, yeast and salt. We mix by programming 15 seconds, speed 5. If necessary, we finish mixing with the spatula.

  7. We pour the mixture into a 23 x 23 cm square mold, covered with baking paper or greased with butter (a round mold of 28 cm in diameter or a rectangular mold of 20 x 30 cm and about 6 cm high can also be used. ). When the mixture is in our mold, sprinkle the surface with sugar, lower the oven to 180º and bake for approximately 30 minutes. As always, with a skewer we can check if it is ready.
