We are going to prepare today some Seafood in salsa that they are going to give us a lot of play. In the video you will see that we can serve them alone (if you opt for this option, don't forget the bread), with potatoes or with cooked pasta.

The sauce has vegetables and paprika, which makes it irresistible. 

You can use fresh or frozen squid. If you opt for the latter, put them in the refrigerator the day before so that they defrost slowly.

And when it comes to presenting it, choose the option that suits you best: you can bring to the table a great aperitif -if you present it alone or with potatoes-, or turn it into a very complete first course if you combine them with a freshly cooked pasta.

Squid that we can serve alone, with boiled potatoes and even with pasta.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 small onion, peeled and cut in half
  • 1 carrot, peeled
  • 1 sprig of celery, in two pieces
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 teaspoon of Paprika de la Vera
  • Plentiful fresh parsley (we reserve a little for last)
  • 30 g of extra virgin olive oil
  • 400 or 500 g of small squid, clean and cut into rings
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Ground black pepper
  • 50 g of white wine
  • 100 g of tomato paste
  • Some lettuce leaves

And also (optional):

  • Cooked potatoes or pasta

Preparation

  1. Put the onion, carrot, celery and garlic clove in the glass. We also put the parsley. We shred everything during 5 seconds at speed 7.

  2. We lower with the spatula what has remained on the walls of the glass.

  3. We add the extra virgin olive oil and program 5 minutes, 100º, speed 1. Add the paprika and program 30 seconds, 100º, speed 1.

  4. Now we put the squid in the glass, already cut into rings, the salt and the pepper. We program 5 minutes, 100º, left turn, spoon speed.

  5. We add the white wine and, without putting the beaker, we program 2 minutes, varoma temperature, counterclockwise, spoon speed.

  6. Now we put the crushed tomato and the lettuce leaves in the glass. We program 5 minutes, 100º, left turn, spoon speed.

  7. We serve the squid as we like best: alone, with potatoes, with freshly cooked pasta ...

  8. We finish the dish by putting fresh chopped parsley on the surface.
