Pasta cooking

REceta thermomix pasta cooking

Pasta is one of my husband's favorite dishes. I remember that shortly after having the Thermomix®, whenever I prepared it, I made the sauces with the robot but I did not dare to Cook pasta. I imagined it would get tangled in the blades and it would be a real disaster.

As many of you already know, my mother is a presenter and she is the one who, apart from giving me this wonderful gift, has made me want to discover everything I could do with this fantastic device. So it was she who told me what comfortable which turned out to cook the pasta in the Thermomix®. When he saw the face I made, he realized that he had never cooked it and told me: "tomorrow you have to try it ..."

And "said and done." The next day I started to cook my pasta without being convinced that it would turn out well. When I opened the glass and saw my perfect spaghetti, totally al dente, without going over I felt the happiest woman in the world. Now if the spaghetti was going to come out bolognese of my perfect boy.

In the step-by-step recipe we offer you two different preparation options, both work very well.

So, how could it be otherwise this recipe I dedicate it to my mother for everything she teaches me every day.

Well yes, it is perfect. I also do it in the thermomix, it does not break with the blades and it never goes away. I also take the opportunity to make it after making the tomato sauce, so I don't have to wash the machine twice.

Well, it does surprise me what you say that you had never made pasta in the thermo, with the dishes that you do !!! I do it in the thermo from the first day, so you also avoid getting dirty pots and so on.
    To the rich pasta !!!!

    1.    Silvia said

Silvia has been doing it for a long time, but I have had the thermomix for about ten years and the first few years I didn't dare. With the TM-21 model I don't remember cooking pasta, then when I changed it for the TM-31 my mom encouraged me and now I always do it in my thermo. All the best

I crush 3 garlic at speed 5, add the egg at room temperature, a little salt and a splash of lemon, 5 seconds vel.5. We put the cup with a little water inside (it is so that it weighs a little) and we drop 300 of oil (I sunflower), with the cup set to speed 4, 3 minutes.

I have not done it again with the mixer, it comes out great.

      1.    conchi said

I don't understand the goblet, with the water inside if I put the goblet where the oil is made? Thank you

        1.    Wendy said

… Let's see conchi, the beaker is full of water (halfway), you put it in its place on the lid and you pour the oil directly into the lid, and then the oil falls through the slot that remains between the beaker and the hole of the lid slowly, if you want to put some quick liquid, do not put water to the beaker.
I hope my explanation will help you

        2.    ellen said

Hello !!! But the pasta does not get tangled in the blades? I have to put the basket and put the pasta through the nozzle and that it is on top of the basket? Or what do I have to do so that it does not get tangled? Thank you!!!!

  5.   thermo said

I also discovered it recently, and I also cooked it after making the sauce, I saved myself from cleaning the glass but it is also the macaroni that has been the most successful at home.

  6.   jucagarfer said

One day I tried to make the spaghetti, but they all got entangled in the blades and it was hard for him to spin around, I don't know what he would do wrong ……. Do you not get tangled in the blades?

    1.    Silvia said

The truth is that they have not entangled me. Maybe you didn't set the spoon speed right.

  7.   chus said

Today I am going to do the test. Could you suggest a sauce other than tomato sauce? Thanks!

    1.    Silvia said

We will put new sauces that go well with the pasta. I suggest this one that we usually make for meat but other people have already tried pasta and they say they are luxurious.

  8.   mari carmen -teruel- said

Well, I always have to cook it for a few minutes longer than what is in the package, (also if I cook it in the saucepan), it must be for the water, which is hard here. Otherwise, the best macaroni and spaghetti.

  9.   pepi said

Shouldn't we turn to the left? And can I also do it with the stuffed pasta?
    thank you.

  10.   Reyes said

Hello!! I have the TM21, how can I cook the pasta? It is that there is no spoon speed.

    1.    Silvia said

It would be done by setting speed 1, instead of spoon speed.

      1.    Reyes said

Thank you very much Silvia, I will try it and tell you how it went.

  11.   Elena said

When we put the pasta, shouldn't we turn to the left so that it doesn't crumble?
When in doubt, I'm doing it like this, I hope they fit me well….

    1.    Silvia said

It is not necessary, it works well with spoon speed.

  12.   Carmen said

Silvia, don't the spaghetti get tangled in the blades? Is it not necessary to put butterfly or turn to the left?

    1.    Silvia said

They do not tangle and with putting spoon speed they look good.

  13.   yoli said

I also do it in the thermomix since then I eat the pasta at its point I also turn it to the left just in case thanks

  14.   irene said

I do not usually cook the pasta in the themo either, but more for a matter of speed, because while the pasta is cooking in the saucepan I make the sauce in the thermo and this way I save time.
We will try it to see how the pasta comes out ...

    thanks!

  15.   carmen said

I have never cooked them in the machine either, but I will try this weekend.
Thank you for giving us all these recipes. A hug.

  16.   Sandra Iglesias said

I have the thermomix 21 it would be to put the butterfly and at speed 1 I ask thanks ……………… ..

    1.    Wendy said

In the T-21, as there is no spoon speed, or left turn, it is best to do it in the basket, they look very good.
Try it, you will no longer cook pasta in a saucepan. Kisses

      1.    Silvia said

Putting speed 1, instead of spoon speed, would be enough.

  17.   MARY said

Every day you surprise me more, with your recipes but I would never think of cooking the pasta in the thermo, apart from the fact that mine is 21 and I have neither left nor spoon. Congratulations on your wonderful recipes. Thank you

    1.    Silvia said

Being the TM-21, everything would be done the same, you only change the spoon speed for speed 1.

  18.   silvia said

Hi Silvia, just tomorrow I wanted to put pasta to eat, but could you put the recipe for the Bolognese please?
Another thing, in most recipes at the end it says, serve immediately, that puts me back, because I have to leave the food cooked at night, since I get home at three thirty and I can't start cooking . What should I do so that the food is freshly cooked?
Thank you very much for your recipes and advice.

    1.    Silvia said

You're right Silvia, you have to put the recipe for the Bolognese sauce. Take note.
Generally we put the serving immediately because it is how the dish comes out at its point, but it will be necessary to adapt to the circumstances of each family and if it must be done the day before and rest in the refrigerator, then there is no problem.
      All the best

Hello, if I have tried the spaghetti cooking them in the Thermomix and it comes out perfect, but I have also read that they can be steamed in the varoma container, I have not yet tried this method, but when I make them again with the Bolognese sauce, while this one is prepared, I will put them in the Varoma and we will see how they come out. All the best.

The spaghetti was great and the sauce was great, from now on I will do it like this, I will cook the pasta in my th and so I just dirty the machine and nothing else, the whole kitchen picked up and clean so it's nice, thanks again.

    1.    Silvia said

The truth is that it is a pleasure, to see everything collected and everything done with the thermomix. We seem cleaner than Arguiñano, heh, heh ... I'm glad you liked the pasta. All the best

  30.   Cristina said

Well, the pasta is hard for me, and I add more water and cooking time, with so many turns, it is almost a porridge (even putting the twist backwards and spoon speed). I think the thermo is great for sauces, but for pasta I don't see it.

    1.    Silvia said

You do not need to add more water, just add a couple of minutes more so that it is to your liking. The truth is that this recipe is to be al dente.

  31.   Irenearcas said

Let's get down to it Daniel! Thanks for the suggestion and thanks for following us.

I have a question. We recently bought the Tm5, but when I started making the macaroni, the water came out (in small amounts) through the beaker. That's normal? Because I turned it off, I removed water from it and it kept going out.

    1.    Mayra Fernandez Joglar said

      Hello isbael:

I have not seen the problem but I can tell you that it is not normal for water to come out of the nozzle unless you have put too much.

I suggest that you repeat the recipe and follow it to the letter, paying close attention to the amounts marked. If the problem persists you should talk to your salesperson or your delegation.

      Greetings.

    2.    Sara said

Well, I think that if it is normal, it even puts it in the easy and healthy cookbook, it says that without putting the beaker AND THAT IF FOAM IS OVERFLOWING, MAKE A SPLIT OF OIL. I have done it and it works.

I don't know what about spaghetti because it gives me the impression that being stiff and sticking out of the mouth when you put them when you turn the blade will split them…. Although I see that they do not break ...

      1.    Irene Arcas said

        Hi Sara,

cooking pasta in thermomix is great. I use it a lot when I am doing more things at the same time, because that way I make sure that it will not happen to me and it will always be al dente and that the water will not leak out of the pot.

Be calm with the spaghetti, that the blades do not cut them. Keep in mind that we are working at very small speeds that what they do is stir. 🙂
