Let's prepare stewed beef with the sweet touch of the fruit. The quince and apple that we are going to use practically fall apart and give rise to the sauce.

I have served this stew with a garnish of White rice, but it is very good if we accompany it with couscous or even with some potatoes.

What do you not have quince? Nothing happens, you can replace it with more apple.

Ingredients

  • 30 g onion
  • 25 g olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 500 g of beef in pieces
  • Dried oregano
  • 50 g of white wine
  • A little bit of salt
  • A little ground pepper
  • 1 quince
  • 1 apple (pippin or other variety)
  • 400 g of vegetable broth or meat broth

Preparation

  1. We put the onion in the glass and program  5 seconds, speed 7. We lower with the spatula what has remained on the walls of the glass.

  2. We add the olive oil. We program 3 minutes, 120 °, speed 1.

  3. We put the veal in pieces in a plate or bowl and flour it.

  4. We put that meat already floured in the glass. Also oregano. We program 3 minutes, 100 °, left turn, speed 1.

  5. We incorporate the wine and, without putting the beaker, we program 2 minutes, 100 °, left turn, speed 1.

  6. Peel and chop both the apple and the quince. We put the fruit in the glass together with the salt and pepper. We program 3 minutes, 100 °, left turn, speed 1.

  7. Add the vegetable broth and program 20 minutes, 100 °, left turn, speed 1.

  8. We remove the cup and put the basket on the lid. We schedule now 20 minutes, varoma temperature, left turn, speed 1.

  9. We serve our meat with white rice or with couscous.
