Now that the strawberries they are at a good price it is time to make jam. In this case we will also put oranges.
You will see that today's jam has more sugar than Strawberry jam. But it has an advantage that some of you will appreciate: by carrying that amount of sugar and all the juice of the oranges we will achieve a texture similar to that of some purchased jams or preserves.
Strawberry and orange jam
A strawberry and orange jam with a texture similar to that of jams and preserves found in the market.

Hello Ana I would like to know the expiration time of the jams that are made with the thérmo thanks a greeting
Hello Lola,
It will depend on how you keep it. If you vacuum it, it can last for years. The vacuum can be done with the bain-marie or by filling the jar well when the jam is very hot and turning it upside down until it cools. In both cases, using previously sterilized jars.
I usually use special jars (which I buy) that have a wider lid and are specifically for canning.
But if you make only one bottle, you can keep it in the fridge. Hold on quietly for a month.
A hug!
Sorry Ascen no Ana
Delicious.
: )
Today I do it !!!
I have strawberries
I have frozen strawberries I can make jam
I suppose so, Manoli. Thaw them beforehand and drain them. Then you prepare the jam as if they were fresh. I have not made jam with frozen or thawed fruit but I suppose it will be good too.
A hug!
