Stuffed trout

Thermomix Recipe Stuffed Trout

Stuffed trout is a fantastic idea to make it in different ways and to improvise delicious and healthy dinners and meals. This time we have prepared it with Serrano ham and cheese and we have served it with a garnish of potato and red pepper that is even better than the trout itself.

Trout and swordfish are my husband's favorite fish, especially because no scrapes are found. They are easy to eat fish and very good options if you have children at home.

Of course, you have to tell the fishmonger that it is to fill in for to remove your thorn completely. There are times when I forget it and then I find myself at home as a fishmonger, although if it happens to you, it is not very difficult to remove it.

Hello, girls, first of all say that I love your recipes, and second that I have been with the thermomix very little, a week and a half, and there are some things that I am discovering,. Regarding the varoma container and specifically in this recipe, how long should we keep the trout in the varoma for it to be done well? 25 minutes?
    Thank you very much.

Hi Asun. 25 minutes is enough. I do it myself and we like it a lot. All the best.

One thing has not been very clear to me.
The 20 min. that are needed to cook the potatoes, are the 20 min. What do you need to cook the fish? Is everything cooked at once?

    Thank you.

Censi, with the 20 minutes the potatoes are made down in the glass and at the same time we put the varoma container and in those 20 minutes the trout is also cooked.

How good! I was just looking for a recipe for the trout that my husband fished today, but I have a question.
The trout are somewhat large and in the varoma container they will not be stretched, so I think they fit better in the upper tray of the varoma. If I place them at the top, with the time that you indicate would be enough? Thanks a lot

Rocio, the truth is that the fishmonger removes the thorn from me, but I think you can open it in the middle, on the back as you say, and remove it. If the size does not fit in the varoma, cut them into two pieces, to see if they fit well, because if you put them on top, I don't know if the varoma will cover you well. In principle, the time is the same, if anything, put a couple of minutes more, if they are big and that's it.

Thank you very much Silvia! they turned out great! although in the end I left him the thorn because I started to do it but ..
I probably would have screwed them up. I added a little more water because it gave me the impression that 50 gr was not enough,
so a little more sauce came out! Thanks for everything!
Ah !! you are great !!! A hug

Hello. I have tried this recipe. The taste of the trout very good but the tatas remained like a puree. Should I set the option "left turn", "spoon speed" or cut the potatoes too small?

    Congratulations on your blog.

    All the best

The potatoes should be a bit big the pieces and of course put the butterfly and hook it well so that it does not come out and make them puree.
