Today yes yes!! Fabulous video recipe from a top top recipe: sweet sugar popcorn. A recipe for success watching a movie with friends at home and sweeten the moment.

It is such an easy and affordable recipe that is absolutely perfect. The most basic ingredients: corn, water, sugar and oil. Everything with very simple proportions, we put everything at the same time, we heat it up... and by magic... sweet popcorn is ready!

I recommend using a tall pot so that the popcorn has enough space to jump and it is more difficult for it to stick and burn on the base.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of popcorn kernels
  • 1/2 glass of water
  • 1/2 glass of white sugar
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil

Preparation

  1. In a tall pot we put all the ingredients at once (corn grains, sugar, water and oil). Stir and cook over high heat for a few minutes until the water evaporates. It is important to shake the pot every 30 seconds so that all the corn kernels are heated equally.

  2. When the corn kernels start to jump, cover and lower the heat to medium. We'll have to cook the popcorn some 3 minutes over medium heat, shaking the pot without opening it every 30 seconds. This will prevent them from burning.

  3. Turn off the heat and let stand 2 minutes covered and, again, shaking the pot well every 30 seconds so that they do not burn.

  4. Open the pot, stir with a spatula. Prepare a wide tray with a sheet of baking paper and place the popcorn on the paper. We spread them well with the help of the spatula and wait 2-3 minutes for them to cool down a bit. Once cold you will see that they separate very easily.
