What do you think if we start the weekend preparing some delicacies of mandarin and chocolate? Is a candy to which the children will not be able to say no and that the elders have won after not stopping all week.

These delicacies are typical trinkets or treats that are served while we have coffee in a good after-dinner and that can be shared with everyone because they are totally suitable for intolerant to milk, egg, gluten and also for vegans and vegetarians.

Do not forget that we can ask the little ones of the house to help us prepare these tangerine and chocolate delicacies. While we melt the chocolate they can peel the tangerines and then coat the segments.

Ingredients

  • 2 mandarins
  • 80 g dark chocolate
  • 40 g of almond crocanti

Preparation

  1. Fill the glass with tap water up to the first mark (1/2 liter). Heating by programming 4 minutes, 100º, speed 1.

  2. At the end of the time, put the chocolate in the basket in a bowl that fits well and is not too big. Place the basket inside the glass and program 4 minutes, 100º, speed 2, without beaker. From time to time stir through the mouth with a spoon to facilitate the melting of the chocolate.

  3. While peeling the tangerines, separate the segments and remove all the white strings. Line a small tray or plate with parchment or parchment paper.

  4. At the end of the time, quickly remove the lid so that water from the steam does not fall into the chocolate and check that it is completely melted. Otherwise, extend the time for one or two more minutes, with the same temperature and speed.

  5. Place the crocanti in a bowl and place the bowl with the chocolate next to it. Dip the mandarin segments one by one in the chocolate, covering them halfway. Shake them carefully so that the excess of chocolate falls and, immediately afterwards, coat them in the crocanti that will stick.

  6. Place the segments in the tray with parchment paper that we had prepared and introduce them a few 10 minutes in the fridge so that the chocolate hardens.

  7. Serve as a treat at the end of the meal or with coffee.
