Chicken soup

Thermomix recipe Chicken broth

I make this chicken broth very often. The "soup" is one of the scenes favorite of my little ones and I am not surprised because it is very comforting and healthy.

It is very simple to do and supports many Variaciones depending on the ingredients we have at home. In this case, what cannot be missing is the chicken. I usually add an Iberian ham bone and vegetables like leek, green beans, carrot, tomato, etc.

Another good thing about it is that it is very versatile and we can use it as a base for rice or other preparations. We can even freeze portioned for use in other stews

This homemade broth It will remind us of what the grandmothers used to do, with all their love and care.

I have the TM-21 and it doesn't have spoon speed, what speed do I have to set, for example to make this chicken broth
    All the best

Victoria you have to put the lowest that your thermos has that if I'm not mistaken is speed 1.
This broth is wonderful, at home I make it a lot. I hope you like it.

Hello, I am very novice so I have two fairly basic questions, but hey .. Will the 1300ml of water when you weigh them in the thermomix, how many grams would that be? And the second, when you say to cook some noodles for a couple of minutes, do you mean in the same broth or apart? Also with the thermomix?

A thousand thanks and thanks for the blog, it's great !!

    1.    Silvia said

Agnés, the water when weighed in the thermomix is 1300gr and you can cook some noodles in the thermomix without doubts. What happens is that since a lot of broth comes out and I usually prepare with noodles for my two daughters, I usually put it aside in a small saucepan and cook a few, but you can do it as you please.
      All the best

    Hello Elena,

I have never had a broth as rich as this. Normally, since I don't have all the ingredients at home, I used to buy ready-made broth directly… but this recipe is with very simple ingredients and the flavor of the broth is AMAZING !! Terrific ... just out of habit I added a pill of avecrén broth that might not have been necessary.

I think I will be drinking this broth all year….

    Thank you

The truth is that if Pilar, whoever tastes this broth thinks twice about taking the purchased one. It comes out great and it's very easy to do.
My family and I love it.

Hello, the ham bone, do you mean serrano ham or fresh ham?

    Regards,
    Catarina

    1.    Elena said

Catarina, is the bone of the Serrano ham. It gives the vegetable stews and broths a great flavor. All the best.

Hello Elena, is it supposed that the total weight of the meat that you put should not exceed 300 gr.?

    Thank you.

    1.    Elena said

Hello Maria Antonia, in the event that you make the beef broth you must add about 300 gr., If you make the chicken broth you must add the ingredients as stated in the recipe. Greetings and I hope you like it.

I made this soup for dinner yesterday, and the result is GREAT.
As always, I was wrong with the amount of noodles ... I added 90 gr. and they were hardly appreciated, so next time, I'll try 150 .. (the kids like it thick)
Thank you very much for the recipes!

Hello. I have made this broth a couple of times and with the ingredients that it had. I like to add it if I have a small piece of pumpkin because it gives it a great flavor. Yesterday I did it with a piece of chicken breast and a ham bone. As I was sad to leave the meat in the fridge, I made some croquettes, and the dinner was round, because although it was a small quantity, for the two children and for my husband and me it was complete: soup and croquettes. I liked the outfit because at once you take off all dinner. Thanks for your work.

Thank you for your help and I will surely follow you and do many more things.

Hello, I have tried this recipe today and I do not know if I have done something wrong but I have not been able to finish it in the thermomix, because all the time the blades were hooked with the meat, the machine stopped and in the end I decided to finish it in a pot. How do you do so that the blades do not get caught, do you put the meat without bone? Thanks for your cookbook, it helps me a lot. All the best.

    1.    Silvia said

Maybe you did not put the left turn so that the blades did not hook the meat and if you have the TM-21 model and you do not have the left turn, put the butterfly on the blade with speed 1.

    Hello Patri,
Try putting the vegetables into smaller pieces (you can even shred them for a few seconds on speed 4).
Let's see if this is perfect for you.
    Kisses!

Hello !! I am an unconditional fan of your page… now that I am on vacation I look at the recipes every day and choose several dishes to make. A doubt ; can I use the varoma while the broth is being made? Should I raise the temperature from 100 to varoma? Thanks a lot !!!
