Jelly beans

Thermomix Gummies Recipe

It is always a good time to prepare some delicious jelly beans at home. For allergic children, they are great for us since when we make them ourselves, we make sure that they will always be able to eat it.

Taking advantage of the weekend, I have done them with my dwarfs and we have had a great time. So if you like cook with children, this is a recipe that you must make.

They are very rich and, as they do not contain preservatives or colorings, they give peace of mind. The only downside is that they have a lot of sugar, so they should only be consume occasionally.

They are a great idea along with clouds preparing homemade sweets, to parties or children's events.

We have just seen your blog and it seems to us that it is very well done. We will pass it on to our favorites.

On the other hand, and always with the intention of improving day by day, let me tell you that we have missed a category: children, which includes special recipes for children (such as gummies, clouds, ...).

Greetings, and congratulations again for the blog.

    Hello Elena & Silvia,

I want to make the jelly beans but the neutral jelly I bought is in sheets. How many would I have to put to make them and that they fit me well? Or is it that the powder ones are better?

    Thanks!!!!! Muacks !!!!

    1.    Elena said

Hello Laura. For the gummies you have to use powdered gelatin. With the gelatin in sheets they do not look as good because you have to keep them in water. All the best.

      1.    conchi said

ho I bought the gelatin today to make the jelly beans and it turns out that the neutral gelatin had no powder it had to be in sheets, what can I do to make them fit well?

        1.    Virtues said

Conchi, I recommend that you make the recipe with the ingredients indicated, especially this one. It can come out too soft or too hard.

    Hola!
I have only had the thermomix for a month but I am hooked, I love your blog and I am encouraged to do new things thanks to blogs like yours. I have tried to make the jelly beans and they have been great, what I would like to ask you is where I can get molds to make different shapes.
    Thanks and best regards

    1.    Elena said

Hello Sonia, I bought them at Ikea and they are small ice buckets in different ways. Thank you very much for seeing us and I hope you continue to like our recipes. All the best.

  4.   Lola said

Hi girls! I need to know what brand of gelatin and how many grams is the one you use to make the jelly beans. Thanks and best regards.

    1.    Silvia said

Lola, the fruit jelly that I use is usually a royal or hacendado brand (from mercadona) and the gelatin envelopes are 85 gr.

  5.   Lola said

Silvia, indeed the flavored gelatin sachet is 85 gr., But the ones I have from Royal of neutral gelatin as indicated in the box are 2 sachets of 10 gr. Is that the proportion that you put? Sorry to insist, but until I have it clear I do not dare to do them. Thanks and best regards.

    1.    Silvia said

Si Lola, the neutral gelatin envelopes are 10 grams each and the brand I use is royal. I encourage you with the goodies that will turn out great for you.
      All the best

Thanks for the blog, very useful and very good. I am new to this because I have had the Thermomix for a week. You only need to make videos of the recipes and publish them on the blog or on YouTube.
My children asked me for this recipe because they had heard it and it does not come in the book.
    Congratulations and best regards

    1.    Elena said

Thank you very much, Mercedes. The video is something that we are not considering, but both of us are going very fast and we have little time. Surely in the end we do. I'll tell you. All the best.

I am a mother with a diabetic girl and I don't think this recipe can come out with saccharin, but I congratulate you on this blog of recipes with Thermomix, I have already made the pumpkin sponge cake and it is great.

    1.    Elena said

Thank you very much, Aranza. I'm glad you liked the cake. The truth is that gummies are rich with sugar, worse you can try with saccharin in grain, especially because your girl will be very excited. All the best.

  10.   Silvia said

What approximate quantity does it come out? How should I do with TMX 21?

  11.   Silvia said

Silvia can do the same with the TM-21. The quantity comes out quite a few gummies, more or less like double the ones you see in the recipe photo.

  12.   Silvia said

If instead of water I add canned pineapple juice, how would the proportion of sugar be? What if it were natural orange juice?

    1.    Silvia said

You can substitute water for juices, but I would add the same proportion of sugar if the juice is natural and a little less if it is packaged, but I don't know exactly how much less because I've never done it.

  13.   pillar said

Hi, look, I make the gummies very often and they are very tasty but once you put them in sugar coating but right away it absorbs the sugar a lot and they stick a lot with some tricks for this.

    1.    Silvia said

The truth is, Pilar, that usually happens to me too if I leave them for a few days, although I usually prepare them for birthdays or family events and not one remains. If I discover something I will tell you about it. All the best

  14.   Isabel said

Hi, I made the gummies but the molds were full of foam, is it normal? or I have done something wrong, how can it be avoided. Thank you

  15.   paqui said

What molds are used for the jelly beans? thank you all your recipes are great.

    1.    Silvia said

Paqui, I use silicone ice cubes, some are from ikea and others from kitchenware stores.

    Hello girls!
Yesterday I made the strawberry flavored gummies but the truth is that they don't taste like anything. What can I do to give them more flavor?

  17.   anna bel said

Hello. Today I discovered this page, and I am delighted. I have made a Madrid stew and it comes out very rich.
My question is about the gummies, can they be made without coating them with sugar? And the only silicone mold I have is a big one, will they cut well?
    Thank you very much

    1.    Silvia said

If you could make them, it is not to coat them in sugar and it may cost a little to cut them because they will stick to the scissors, but they are very rich, I would try.

  18.   Erika said

    good!

I'm also going to cheer up with the gummies because everything I do on your blog succeeds! of the hard?

    1.    Silvia said

Erika, I have them made of silicone and I think they are better to unmold because if they are hard it will cost you a little more to remove the gummy and maybe they will break but if you do not have silicone, try to see what it is.

  19.   Erika said

    Hello there!
I have made the jelly beans in hard coolers and I have also brushed them with sunflower oil and they unmold super well ... you take off the edges a little by pressing gently from the center of the jelly with your finger, and you remove them very easily!

by the way great! They have totally triumphed, I made a little basket for my mother for Mother's Day (I already know it's tomorrow, but I couldn't take it anymore and I gave it to her today) with the jelly beans, the clouds and the hazelnut chocolates. My mother has shared them with everyone and it has been a total success, everything was delicious, thank you so much for the ideas!

by the way trick to unmold the clouds ... made icing sugar on the counter and turn it over like this, sprinkling icing sugar all over the rectangle, so it is not sticky and they cut wonderfully

    1.    Silvia said

Erika, I'm so glad you liked them. Last year I made a basket like that for my mother, I also put tiles on it. He loved it.

It is more than 3 years stored in a piece of furniture. A year ago I bought another one again, because several of my friends have it, and all of them with a pique that in the end I decided and bought it and I am very happy because I use it almost daily thanks to your recipes and especially sweets and things. for my daughters and so I know the ingredients that each thing they eat has. Today I will make the gummies, I am looking forward to seeing their faces when I tell them that we are going to go into the kitchen to make gummies. Thank you.

    THANK YOU.

I have made the clouds but at the moment is the liquid mass I hope they set or not? Is the fruit jelly the kind you buy ready to drink or in an envelope?

  25.   Ana Guerrero Gil said

Yesterday I made the clouds and they have come out very rich, but in the bottom when they turned it they had a jelly bottom I have cut them very well and separated the cloud from the jelly but after it goes through sugar a syrup has formed and they are As in syrup How can I avoid this anyway they are great.

  26.   Ana Guerrero Gil said

I have made the gummies again, the strawberry ones were great but then I made them from pineapple and they have been licked again with the sugar made into syrup. I have also made them from lemon and instead of water I put lemon juice and They were very good but somewhat acidic although I like them very much that way.
