Potato and carrot puree

I really like this puree as accompaniment of any meat, especially if I prepare it on the grill. Although it can also be served with simple fish recipes.

When we have chicken or tenderloin for dinner, I use it as an accompaniment so the girls have a more complete dinner based on vegetables and meat.

My daughters love carrots, in fact when I make lunch or dinner they always ask me to peel one and raw it. So it occurred to me that it would be perfect to change and not always do the mashed potatoes. And it has been a success.

      Hello Susana, I think that with water you will look very good. You still have to add less amount of water than milk, try 170 gr. By the way, can't your little one drink lactose-free milk?         You cannot take the casein, which is the protein of the cow and even if you remove the lactose, the casein continues to remain in the milk so I have to replace it with vegetable milk and of all the ones that seem healthier and with more calcium is that of Almonds to take alone are good, it has a taste "somewhat" similar to horchata but I don't like it very much when cooking, it comes out slightly sweet.
        But I'm going to try with water. I had even thought of some chicken soup of those that are already made in tetrabrick to give it a little more flavor.

    Now that I am living alone I have the problem that the recipes that you publish are usually for 2 or 4 people and for 1 I have problems. More than by the amount of ingredients, by the times. For example, for a recipe for macaroni or rice, if it is for 4 people and you have to add 400 grams then divide by 4 and without problem, but the cooking time? Would I also have to divide it by 4? Do I leave it the same time even if the amount is less?

    Yesterday I made this puree and the result was spectacular !!!!, I loved it!. I have a little left over and I have it in the fridge for tonight. I accompanied it with some fried chicken wings but I have thought with any type of meat, Well fried or baked it has to be vice. A question could freeze xq. I went out a lot and although I ate enough and my little one too, I have left over.
