I really like the combination of sweet with saladoy this recipe is perfect. The mixture of the chicken with the sauce of prunes and raisins is perfect.

It is also a plate very complete which will serve you to prepare a family meal since, in addition to the meat with sauce, it has a garnish of rice.

It is accompanied by White rice I have made it together with the sauce and that is why it has the color of it. It also can make apart and so it will be white, but doing it with the sauce takes on the flavor and is much richer.

Chicken with prunes and raisins

Ingredients

  • 800 g of chicken thighs or breast (I have used breast)
  • 250 g of rice
  • 100 g carrots
  • 200 g pitted prunes
  • 50 g of raisins
  • 60 g of cream for cooking
  • 1 cebolla
  • Provencal herbs (optional)
  • 350 g of red wine
  • 20 g of wine vinegar
  • 600 g of water
  • 40 g olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. In the glass, add the oil, the quartered onion and the chopped carrots. We crush during 5 seconds, progressive speed 5-7-10.

    We lower the remains that have remained on the lid and on the walls, with the spatula.

  2. We program 4 minutes, varoma temperature and speed 2.

  3. We add the wine, vinegar, water, salt, pepper and Provencal herbs.

  4. In the varoma we place the chicken pieces, the plums and the raisins. We salt and pepper them, cover and place the varoma in its position. We program 30 minutes, varoma temperature and speed 1.

  5. After this time, we remove the varoma, pour the rice into the basket and place it inside the glass.

  6. We turn the chicken and the grapes and plums. We cover again and place the varoma in its position.

  7. We program 20 minutes, varoma temperature and speed 1.

  8. After the time, we remove the varoma and the basket. We keep warm.

  9. We pour the cream into the glass and mix for 2 minutes, temperature 100º and speed 2.

  10. We serve the chicken with the sauce on top and serve with the rice.
