Seafood soup

Thermomix Seafood Soup Recipe

This seafood soup I do it a lot at home. Fish seems to me to be a very healthy food for the diet of adults and children. Mine have eaten it phenomenally in soup since they were little. One of their favorite games is to suck the chirlas and catch "the bug" as they say.

I have to admit that at home we are quite tureen, especially the girls and me. This I think is inherited from my mother, because at any time a broth or soup is good for her, regardless of the season of the year we are in.

This seafood soup is somewhat laborious for the fact of peeling prawns to make a good stock. But the result convinces one hundred percent because of its flavor.

This is another recipe that can be taken by celiac and gluten intolerant since it does not take any type of pasta or bread.

That soup is only good, how is it baked?

    1.    Silvia said

It is my favorite soup, I love seafood. Follow all the steps of the recipe and you will see how you are surprised by how rich it is.

It looks great, I sure do. Just one question, when do you put the noodles, because in the photo there are noodles, right?

    1.    Elena said

Hi Lola, I make it with rice and add about 60 gr. just before programming the last 15 minutes. If you add noodles, once these last 15 minutes have been programmed, you add it when there are 9 or 10 minutes left. I hope you like it.

do not use halibut it is a poison made fish

    1.    Pink said

Joaquin let me point out something very important for you. You screw up the freight with the panga. The fletan or also known as halibut is a low-fat white fish that is fished in the northern part of the Atlantic, while the panga is a freshwater fish that is raised in the Mekong River of Vietnam and the OCU made a recommendation not to consume it together with the perch because it contains traces of pesticides and mercury (europapress article of 4/03/2010).

    Hello!
I'm new to this thermomix, my father just gave it to me. On Saturday I have people for dinner and I would love to make this seafood soup from 1º, the only thing I do not understand very well how the prawns are made if we add them when it is resting… this is how they are done at all ?????
Thank you and congratulations, you are very helpful

    1.    Silvia said

Noelia, we add the prawns at the end resting as you say and with a few minutes of that high temperature they are made to spare. Well, rice prawns are very small and do not need anything else. It's sure to come out great and it's a dish that everyone loves. You'll tell me how.

It has to be delicious but I would like you to offer me the paella recipe to make it in the thermomix even if it was not so complete with all the ingredients but something similar to that I would really appreciate a greeting.

Marimar, is a recipe that we have yet to publish. In the next few days we will put it. All the best.

olaaa I would like about this recipe but I have a couple of doubts, what is that about the freight steaks? and the water (for the stock). A greeting.

  7.   marimar said

Haven't you posted the paella recipe yet? I am anxiously awaiting your response if not, to see if you could explain to me if you have ever done it in thermomix the way to do it thanks a greeting

    1.    Elena said

Hello, I have your seafood soup recipe and I understand everything great
Only when I get to the step of putting the eggs and fillets freight that I buy cazon I do not know how to do it in the varoma I have nothing to separate up and down please help me
    all the best

    1.    Silvia said

Conchi, what model of thermomix do you have? even in the tm-21 I would swear that the varoma has a tray to be able to put two floors but I will make sure.

  9.   Mar said

I'm going to make it for tonight. It was recommended to me by my colleague and I am glad I found your page because here you explain it somewhat better than in a book. There it was not clear to me if the chirlas had to be cooked with the water and salt, or just washed.
As for the halibut, I agree with Joaquín: it is toxic. Hake is better.

    1.    Silvia said

Mar thanks for your contribution of halibut we will take it into account. A greeting

Good afternoon Silvia wrote to you in case you could tell me for how many people the seafood soup recipe is for
I did it on Christmas Eve but I added more smoke
but I would like you to tell me for 8 people how are the measurements
        all the best

        1.    Silvia said

Conchi, with this soup I usually have 6 or 8 people, but if it seems too short, you can add a little more, but keep in mind that no more than 2 liters go into the thermomix.

    2.    Elena said

I hope you like it, Mar. It is a very rich soup. Thank you very much for seeing us. Greetings and Merry Christmas!.

    3.    conchi said

      1.    Elena said

Hello Conchi, the truth is that for me it is one of the fixed soups of Christmas. It is exquisite and I also like it with monkfish. Greetings and Happy 2011!

Hi there! To make half the amount, do I cut all the ingredients in half, but keep time and speed? Thank you very much girls!

    1.    Silvia said

Yes Elena, you cut ingredients in half but with the same time and speeds.

Thank you very much, Paco. I am glad you liked it. All the best.

  14.   Loam said

Good morning. On New Years Eve I am going to prepare this soup, but a few days before I made it to test how it was. The result was very good but for my taste, if I add all the stock it is very dense of flavor. Do you add everything? This time I'm going to try adding a little more water and not putting all the stock. By the way, I have to make soup for 20. I had thought about making this recipe 3 times and putting it all together in a tureen, but if you have any trick to save time, I would appreciate it. Greetings and happy new year

    1.    Silvia said

Marga it is true that the stock is sometimes very concentrated and you could add water and so you have for a few more guests. In principle for so many, I would do about 3 times as you say.
      Greetings and Happy Holidays!!

  15.   jose said

Hello everyone again, well, the seafood soup was a success, I added a chilli to give it a spicy touch, because I thought it was missing. Thank you and I'll wait for the paella recipe, keep up the good work bye.

    1.    Elena said

Hi Jose, I'm glad you liked it and the truth is that the touch of the chilli is perfect. Greetings and I hope that we will soon put the recipe for the paella.

I have to tell you that for me this is one of the best soups I have ever had, I made it after dinner and we ate it the next day! I was surprised by the taste, it was the first soup I made with the thermomix and I didn't think it had that intense seafood flavor! With telling you that even my boyfriend took it (he doesn't like soups at all) and he has already told me that when will I repeat it! LOL

    Thanks and regards!

    1.    Silvia said

I'm with you Irene, for me it is the best soup I have ever tasted with the thermomix. I'm glad you like it. All the best

Hello last night, I prepared this soup to eat today, but I thought it looked great and we had it for dinner (since there were 3 of us, I still have left over to eat today). It is very good, I, instead of adding fish filites, I put small squid, (which are tender), and it was wonderful. In addition to my son's plate, I added a fillet of salmon that I had for him for dinner, I crumbled it on his plate, and he had a wonderful dinner. !he loved it! and only a plate on top. Hahaha.
    Thank you.

The truth is that at home it is our favorite soup. My daughters eat it which is great. Very good idea about the calamari, I'll try it next time. All the best

I congratulate you for all the recipes in general, since I discovered your page we are all delighted. In particular the seafood soup I have already made several times, and especially my husband has loved it. You do a very good job. THANK YOU.

  20.   Maite said

Hello Silvia! Congratulations on the page, I have only had the thermomix for 5 days, and I am going very little by little .., my doubt when you say that we put the stock and reserve the broth .., what do you mean by that? is placed in the glass? Thanks

    1.    Silvia said

Maite, what I'm saying is that we "strain" the stock, and reserve the broth that comes from passing the stock through a strainer so that not even a shrimp shell remains.

      1.    Maite said

Oh, yes Silvia, it's true .., I hadn't read correctly .., thank you very much!

This soup is very tasty, we had it for dinner yesterday and it was really a success! and it is done in a moment. I am amazed with the thermomix they told me about it and I thought well it would not be so bad but now that I have one I see that it is for a lot !!!!! a greeting

I have made the seafood soup and it has been very good, I have always feared it because of how messy it is, but it is done in a little while and it really is very good in my house, you have liked it a lot, thank you

  23.   Suzanne said

    Two questions please |
-How much noodles do you add? And since I have to make like 3 times that amount because we are 20 for dinner, can I put it all together in the same hot pot after making it or do I have to wait for it to cool? Thank you very much.

    1.    Virtues said

Hello Susana, when I need more quantity in some recipes, what I do is I make them several times as the recipe says and then I put it in a pot, and I give it a last heat.

Prepare this soup for Christmas Eve, the day before I tried it and I loved it, I couldn't believe how rich it was and that I don't eat soup, my husband loved it too. The fact is that the next day it was not the same, I do not know what happened, it was still very rich but everyone agreed that it was very strong, that it had too much pepper, I do not understand soups so I do not know what it was , but it is true that I did not know as well as the day before, what could it be? are two peppers what is added? everyone said that I had to try to make it without peppers, which left it very strong. Thank you very much for the blog, it is one of the best things on the internet. Happy New Year!
