With the arrival of spring, you want to prepare dishes to share outdoors. Do we start with a Patty? This is the most colorful.

As vegetables it has pepper, green beans and tomato. Also has tuna and hard boiled egg. The dough, with beer in this case, is made in a moment with the Thermo.

In my case the Jewish They are canned but if you want to cook them at home I suggest Ana's recipe: green beans with ham. If you use them for this dish, do not put the tuna in the pie, substitute it for meat (minced pork and / or beef, small pieces of chicken ... whatever you have). You will get a completely different but also very good empanada.

Ingredients

For the mass:

  • 100 g of sunflower oil
  • 100 g of beer
  • 100g milk
  • 1 teaspoon paprika sweet
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 370 g of pastry flour (and something else in case we need it to work the dough)

For the filling:

  • 1 natural tomato, grated or finely chopped
  • 200 g of tuna in oil (drained)
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
  • 100 g of canned or previously cooked green beans
  • 100 g red bell pepper in small pieces (raw)
  • Sal Island
  • 1 splash of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 beaten egg to paint the dough

Preparation

  1. We put the sunflower oil, beer, milk, paprika and salt in the glass. We program 30 seconds, speed 5.

  2. We add the flour and program 15 seconds, speed 6. We take the dough out of the glass and divide it into two parts, one larger than the other. We put the dough between two plastic sheets or two sheets of greaseproof paper and, using a rolling pin, we stretch the large part until it is very thin. We place it on a rectangular mold of approximately 30 x 40 centimeters.

  3. We preheat the oven to 180º.

  4. We put the ingredients of the filling (the chopped tomato, the tuna, the eggs, the green beans and the red pepper) on top, distributing them all over the surface except for the edges. We drizzle with olive oil and add a little salt.

  5. We roll out the other half of the dough (as we have done before) and place it on top of the filling. We trim the edges (if they protrude from the edge) and seal them. With these cuts we can decorate the surface of the pie. Finally, once decorated, we make a hole or a cut in the center of the pie, so that the steam can escape.

  6. Paint the surface with beaten egg and bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

I have left the green beans without chopping but you can chop them a little, so it will be easier to split and serve the empanada.
