El easy starter par excellence ... that we have surprise guests this afternoon? Nothing happens, here we have a very fast and very healthy starter, which we will prepare with very little effort. It is a fast egg pate hard ready to spread on toast or fresh bread of the day.

I am very fond of this recipe because my mother has prepared it at home when we had visitors since we were little. And the best thing was that what was left over, we could take it the next day ... what memories!

In addition, the ingredients for sure that you already have them at home, they cannot be more basic. Therefore, it is important that they are of good quality. I recommend using free-range eggs and a good extra virgin olive oil.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 600 g of water and 5 g of vinegar to cook the eggs
  • 30 g of extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons vinegar
  • a pinch of salt
  • a pinch of pepper
  • some pickle slices to decorate (you can substitute olives or any other pickle you like)

Preparation

  1. We place the eggs in the basket and reserve.

  2. We put the water and vinegar in the thermomix glass and put the basket inside. We program 20 minutes, varoma temperature, speed 2.

  3. When the eggs are finished cooking, we remove the basket with the help of the spatula and cool the eggs in cold water. We remove the water from the glass of the thermomix, clean it and dry it well.

  4. When the eggs have tempered, we peel them and place them in the glass. We program 3 seconds, speed 4. Add the oil, vinegar, salt and pepper and program 8 seconds, speed 3.

  5. We serve it in a bowl so that each one can spread their bread or we serve them already spread and topped with sliced ​​pickles, as you prefer. It is advisable to take it warm, so you can leave the pate prepared a couple of hours in advance, well covered outside the fridge.
