At home we have had a great time preparing this recipe. We had to make it look like a real hand, and the truth is that I think we did it !! And this is the result: a disgusting zombie hand, served in the center of the table, so that the most daring diner can proceed to serve it ...
And you will wonder what is it made of? Well, minced meat, not zombie, but pork and beef lol. And to give it this "burnt" touch, well, a little cheese and a little tomato sauce ... and the best thing, try to make the nails and the bones of the wrist with onion ... I hope you like it!
Maybe you can be a little more crafty than us and stylize your fingers a bit, making them finer, because after baking it looks like a zombie hand but at least a werewolf hand hehehe.
Zombie hand
Shocking zombie hand cooked in the oven and accompanied by mashed potatoes. Ideal to decorate your tables for Halloween.

Ingredients
- 400g minced beef
- 1 purple onion
- 1 small carrot
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 50 g olive oil
- 1 egg
- spices to your liking (I have used eaten, paprika and a little curry)
- Ketchup
- Sliced cheese
- Mashed potato - I leave you the recipe here (Optional)
- Sal Island
- Virgin olive oil
- Pepper
Preparation
First we will reserve a couple of layers of the purple onion to make the nails. And also part of the center of the onion to make the bone for the wrist.
Now we put the onion, carrot and garlic in the glass and crush 5 seconds, speed 5.
We lower the remains of the lid and walls and add the oil and cook 10 minutes, varoma temperature, spoon speed.
In a large bowl we put the meat, the egg, the vegetables, the spices, salt and pepper to taste. We mix well.
We paint a baking tray with olive oil or use greaseproof paper (it was very convenient for me because we did not stain and then we took our hand out without any difficulty). We place the meat well stacked and put our hand on it as a mold to make a hand as realistic as possible. We form the zombie hand with the minced meat.
We paint the hand with tomato sauce with the help of a brush or kitchen brush.
Now we put the nails, with the purple layer that we had reserved. And the bone of the wrist with the white part of the onion, which we had also reserved.
Then we put pieces of cheese slices so that the entire surface is covered.
We cover with aluminum foil so that the surface does not burn. So that the paper does not stick, we can put a toothpick. Bake about 15 minutes at 170º heat up and down.
We remove the paper and bake for 10 more minutes.
We remove from the oven, brush again with tomato and put it back in the oven. Now we put the gratin function so that it is roasted and acquires this beautiful color ...
When we take it out of the oven, brush it with a little olive oil to give it shine.
We can surround the hand with mashed potatoes with the help of a pastry bag.
