Zucchini spaghetti carbonara It is a good option if we want to enjoy this sauce without adding too many calories.

We can use the zucchini spaghetti to accompany different dishes but today we are going to use them as a basis for substitute for pasta. In this way we will be able to reduce the calories in this dish, although we cannot say that it is light (… hopefully !!)

To prepare the zucchini spaghetti carbonara we can use a special mandolin that, with a simple cut, already makes them or arm ourselves with patience and, with a sharp knife, first cut slices and then strips. In any case the result is spectacular, giving the plate a point original and fun.

Zucchini spaghetti carbonara is a good option if we want to enjoy this sauce without adding too many calories.

Ingredients

  • 300 g of zucchini
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 100 g of bacon
  • 200 g of cream
  • 50 g of Parmesan cheese
  • Parmesan cheese flakes to decorate
  • Pepper
  • Oregano

Preparation

  1. We fill the glass to the 1/2 liter mark. We heat for 5 minutes, 100º, speed 1.

  2. Meanwhile, we wash and dry the zucchini well. With the help of a special peeler we make the strips. We put them inside the varoma and place it in its position. We program 5 minutes, 100º, speed 2.

  3. At the end of the time, we remove the varoma and reserve. We discard the cooking water and make sure that the glass is dry.

  4. We put the chopped bacon and, without adding oil, we program 5 minutes, varoma temperature, spoon speed. Next we add the sliced ​​garlic and let it brown for another 5 minutes, varoma temperature, spoon speed.

  5. Add the cream, cheese and oregano, let it reduce during 5 minutes, 90º, speed 1.

  6. We distribute the zucchini spaghetti in plates or bowls. We spread the sauce on top and finish decorating with a few slices of cheese and a little oregano.

Notes

To save time we can prepare the zucchini spaghetti when we are cooking a cream or any other preparation in which a temperature of 100º or varoma is being used.
