Cauliflower Nuggets

The weekend is coming and we're already thinking about informal dinners to enjoy with the family. So here are these cauliflower nuggets, a healthy alternative with only 25 calories.

They are as easy to make as authentic chicken, so we do not have to hesitate to use this recipe to cook with children. You just have to chop, mix and shape them. After a few minutes in the oven we will have ready a original and delicious vegetable-based appetizer.

In this recipe we have used the trick of grating cauliflower with the left turn. Thus the cauliflower is left with a texture like a grain of rice that allows us to prepare original recipes and healthy as salads.

Also, keep in mind that cauliflower is at its best when cold. Choose the heavy pieces, tight and without stains on the surface.

With these amounts you will have about 30 cauliflower nuggets which allows you to consume as many as you need and freeze the rest. Put them separately on a cookie sheet and freeze them for 2 hours. Then you can put them in hermetically sealed bags.

When reusing them, you can remove them one by one without sticking them, defrost them while you preheat the oven and bake them as if they were freshly made.

      Hello, Martha:
You can substitute it for breadcrumbs. Eye!! If they are for celiacs, it must be gluten-free.
      Kisses!

Does the cauliflower have to be cooked previously?

    1.    Mayra Fernandez Joglar said

      Hello Ana:

No, the cauliflower is not cooked. It is simply cleaned and grated with Thermomix. Then it is cooked in the oven and it is delicious!

      Kisses!!

I have doubts. If the oven has heat up and down, why do you have to turn them over?
In total is it 15 minutes in the oven or half an hour?
    Thank you
