Mexican tacos

Seeing the success of the Fajitas and guacamole, it occurred to me to show you this recipe to complete our authentic Mexican menu. This is one of my favorite dishes, you know? It is one of those dishes that I literally cannot stop eating. In addition, they are so easy and fun to eat ... that it is impossible to take only 2 or 3 ...

To make this recipe we need to buy the kit for Mexican tacos that are sold in large stores. In this kit we will find 12 tacos, the seasoning envelope for the meat and the Mexican sauce for the tacos. We will only need to buy a few ingredients.

To eat it, it is best to bring all the ingredients to the table and have each one fill them up. If we were to fill in all of us, apart from being something a little laborious, they would be a little soft. This is the only downside: they cannot be prepared in advance. However, we can have everything ready, just to heat it up with a microwave blow and serve.

ayyyy that good !!! for dinners this summer, my daughters have me crazy with this type of food: fajitas, nachos with guacamole, tacos, etc ... and they are just the recipes they are publishing lately. They are also simple to make and without having to buy them from the outside, which comes in handy with the crisis and for better health. Thousands of thanks

How good Sandra! I'm really glad your daughters like it… I have to admit that it is one of my favorite dishes. You will tell me how they turn out ... and if we reach the bar of your gourmets ...

Excuse me, but that is not even remotely a Mexican taco, it is a version of "taco de los Angeles" for starters they are not made with folded toast, they are made with soft and hot tortillas made of corn. And they don't have yellow cheese, or striped white, sometimes they have melted cheese, and they are steak, flank steak, suadero, pastor, and an endless number of ingredients from which you can make a Mexican taco. This is a crude and poor copy of a taco. The day you try a Mexican taco you will want to eat them every day. By the way, it is very rare that someone eats a ground beef taco in Mexico. Greetings. look at this link……… these are Mexican tacos, not all of them are nice, like the tripe ones and other things.

Thank you for your message. In reality, this has never been intended to be a recipe for authentic Mexican tacos, but rather a quick version of tex-mex tacos, which is delicious, all things being said. But now that we have the authentic and traditional recipe, have no doubt that we will prepare it. Greetings.

Two little questions ... do I add the whole seasoning envelope? The one I have is the typical one from Old El Paso of 40g ...
And then ... if I want to make more meat, for example 1kg, I understand that I have to double the amount of everything (300g of water, 60 of oil ...) but do I also have to double the times?
    Thanks in advance!

Hello Rachel, thank you for your message. The seasoning can be added whole if you like intense and spicy flavors (I love it !!), but if not, better add half. Of course, if you are going to make 1kg of meat, use it whole. And yes, you must double amounts and also times. We hope you like!! 🙂 Send us a photo of the result to facebook, we will love to see it 😉
