Chocolate and nuts biscuit

Another delicious cake for a good breakfast or snack. The combination of chocolate with nuts It is perfect, it is very fluffy and above all juicy.

You already know that I love to prepare biscuits, especially on weekends. Saturdays and Sundays are the only days that we are calm and we can picnic at ease and share our cakes with friends and family.

As you can see in the photo, I have accompanied him by a rich man cream ice cream which I have also done it at home and that he is doing great.

Elena looks very good, I'm sure I would encourage myself to prepare it, because the cakes that have been liked the most at Keco's house are the chocolate ones from your blog, this seems a safe bet !! By the way, I have already voted today from work, then from home, for all! Little kiss.

    1.    Elena said

Thank you very much, Mary! Kisses.

Hello Elena, tell you that I have been with my thermomix for about 3 months and I am very happy. The page is very good and everything I have done is very rich. I made this cake the other day and it was very tasty, but since it's been cooler, we ate it alone and I didn't put ice cream on it, it was a little dry, maybe accompanied by ice cream is the perfect combination. I am very happy that you help us so much to get more out of our thermomix. Kisses.

Hello girls today and I made this cake but I don't know, it hasn't turned out too well, the dough has been very thick, which could have been ... because of the eggs that were medium or it could be that the butter had to be all straight thanks ... ………….

    1.    Elena said

Hi Sandra, the butter is better if it is very soft, but I don't think that is the problem. I think it was from the oven, it would need a little more time. It is a delicious cake, I hope that if you do it again it will be very good. All the best.

    Hello,
I just made the cake and I don't know if it will be from the oven but it has burned on the sides and the center was raw, could it also be because the mold was made of silicone? very good.
I have not tried it yet, but I hope it tastes better.
    Thanks and regards.

    1.    Elena said

Hello Mari Carmen, I suppose it is because of the oven and the mold. Put it a little lower temperature and the first 10 minutes only with heat below, the rest with heat above and below. The truth is that each oven is different and it is difficult to get it right. After many years I have already taken the point of mine and although it is very old, it works great. All the best.

  26.   Ruth said

I also did it and I always have problems with the oven and the cakes, because my oven is old and does not have to put heat up or down or in both, it only has a temperature button and sometimes it burns on top and bottom. Inside it remains raw, I have tried to put albal paper on it so that it does not burn and it remains raw and when I open the oven ahead of time it no longer rises. I have put it a little lower and it does not suit me either, so I think I will have to give up making cakes with what I like !!!!! What I can do???? and do not tell me to change the oven that I am in full crisis !!!!

    1.    Elena said

Hello Ruth, the truth is that I don't know what to tell you because if it is not worth changing the oven ……… .. The truth is that it is a matter of trying and getting the point.

      1.    Ruth said

I will have to ask the kings for it !!!! by the way, you are more than highly voted for me, I love your recipes… ..the Portuguese cake triumphed on Father's Day !!!!

How rich, I will do it without a doubt. One question, is it more or less like brownie in flavor ??? It could be accompanied by hot chocolate, right? Kisses girls and you also have my vote. Cheer up!!!!!!!!

Hi Mercedes, it's a lot like brownie but fluffier. With hot chocolate it goes perfect. Greetings and thank you very much for voting for us.

Hi friends! I have loved the sponge cake but… I don't know what happened to me, it tastes delicious, fluffy, we liked it a lot, I did as the r
eceta, my mold is one liter, and of course it is clear that I should have used a bigger one, I bathed it, the top part, the sides were hard, and to top it off it sank, and it was not by opening the oven as well. I had to leave for almost an hour. I don't know the failure. The fact is that the cakes always sink, do you have any advice? Ahhhhhhhh today you also have my vote. CONGRATULATIONS

    1.    Elena said

Hello Mª. Angeles, the mold is too small and the rest is a matter of the oven. Try putting the first 10 minutes with only heat on the bottom and the rest on top and bottom. The truth is that it is difficult to catch the point to the ovens for the cakes. Greetings and thank you very much for your vote.

  29.   Mari Carmen said

What I'm going to try is to do it in a round cake mold, instead of a plum cake mold, because I don't know why, but everything I do in the plum cake mold doesn't work out for me. It doesn't matter the shape of the mold, right?
I will try again and I will tell you if changing the mold solves the problem. Although it is a shame, because a cake in a plum cake mold is very beautiful.
Thank you very much for answering me and following all the problems and doubts that are mentioned to you.
    A kiss.

    1.    Elena said

Hello Mari Carmen, it doesn't matter the shape of the mold. A round one will also look good on you. You will tell me.

    Hi!
    First of all, congratulations!
I have recently gone to live with my partner and I had no idea of cooking, just grilled things and pasta ... haha
The fact is that my mother gave me her thermomix that she has had for more than ten years, which she had only used once and it was because I made the cake with 3 chocolates.
Well, lately it has given me the pastry and I have to tell you that it is your fault !!! I love surfing the internet and I have visited many recipe pages but like yours none ...
I have made some other cake from another website and what a disaster ... sometimes they do not say the exact measurements, they are not explained well ... and with you, with the little I know about cooking, all your desserts are very good because you always explain it very clearly !! !
So thank you very much !!!!
Finally a question, can I put another chocolate on the cake? I don't have fondant left, but I do have Nestle and Mercadona's desserts, it doesn't matter?
Thank you and here you have another unconditional follower.
    A greeting.

    1.    Elena said

Hello Maria, yes you can put another chocolate and I see that in another comment you say that it has turned out well, I am very happy !. Greetings and thank you very much for seeing us and following us.

  36.   Anton said

Last Saturday my daughter did it at her house and she told me that it had gone wrong since it went down a lot and overflowed. He did it with the latest model Thermomix (I think it is 21) in a rectangular mold and put it in his oven at 150º. I believe he did not make other variants.
On Sunday I did it at my house with the previous model Thermomix and I followed exactly the instructions of the recite.
Although mine was also very tasty, just like my daughter's, it also fell a lot in the center (round mold) and overflowed when initially I verified that the raw dough was not very high as the diameter was relatively large.
Please tell me where the bugs are. Thanks
    Anton

    1.    Elena said

Hello Anton, I think the fault is in the oven. Put it with a little more temperature since if it is lowered, it is not done enough and needs more oven. What I don't know is why it overflowed. Another option that works very well is to put it on for the first 10 minutes with only heat on the bottom and the rest on top and bottom. I hope that if you do it again it will be good for you. All the best.

  37.   Mila said

Hello Elena!! I have already made the cake 2 times and it is very good, but when it was a little bit left to finish making it, it sank in the center both times. I have not opened the oven door, nor have I changed the temperature. What could it be? Thank you!!

    1.    Elena said

Hi Mila, try putting the first 10-15 minutes only with heat down and the rest with heat up and down. That way they don't usually sink. All the best. If they sink from the center it is usually because it does not have enough oven temperature. Greetings and I hope it suits you.

  38.   Mila said

Okay! Next time I'll raise the temperature to 200. Thanks!!

  39.   Anabel said

Hello girls !! First of all, thank you for helping me make the most of the thermomix, I want to make all the recipes and I will tell you every time I make them ... this one has not turned out well, good flavor but it has burned on the sides and a little raw in the middle!!! If the colacao sponge cake and the cookies in the microwave have turned out very good, now I have to make salty recipes because bikini operation arrives !!! light recipes pleaseeeeee well thank you and a strong greeting

    1.    Elena said

Hello Anabel, I am sorry that it did not look good on you because it is a delicious cake. If it is raw in the center it is because it lacked a little oven. Greetings and I hope you continue to like our recipes.

  40.   Ariza said

Hello!! I have a little problem with the cupcakes. I do not get all the fluffy that should come out, especially, doing them in the thermomix. One of the reasons, I suspect, is because I use Lidl's yeast packets. Can be??? I love biscuits, I love to eat but I am a bit demoralized by this issue.
For the rest, tell you that I love your blog and open it daily.
    A kiss

    1.    Elena said

Many thanks, Aritza !. The truth is that I have never used that yeast, I am faithful to Royal yeast. It also influences a lot to get the point of your oven. Greetings and I hope the cakes turn out well.

  41.   mari carmen -teruel- said

Every time I make this cake and it's been 5 times the same thing happens to me, the dough comes out of the mold. I have tried changing the mold, lowering the temperature, I no longer know what to do and it is the one we like the most. Help. Thanks.

    1.    Elena said

Hello Mari Carmen, the dough has to occupy a third of the mold, never again so that it does not come out and I think you have to lower the temp a little. out of the oven so it doesn't rise as much. You can try putting the first 10 minutes with only heat down and the rest up and down. I hope next time it suits you, it is a delicious cake. All the best.

  43.   Mari Carmen Fernandez de la Calle said

Hello, for a long time I had no doubts, but I'm still here, with you, there is a difference to use, strength flour or pastry flour, thank you

    1.    Elena said

Hello Mari Carmen, the strength flour is for sourdoughs, bread, it is stronger because it has a higher proportion of gluten or starch. On the other hand, the pastry flour is normal but very fine flour and it is perfect for making the cakes more fluffy. All the best.

  44.   Mari Carmen Fernandez de la Calle said

Sorry again, when you put an envelope of chemical yeast and in another recipe you put, an envelope of royal yeast, it is the same or it is different. THANKS

    1.    Elena said

Hello Mari Carmen, it's the same. I always use Royal brand yeast and that is why I put the brand in a recipe. All the best.

  45.   ELO said

If you put the first 10 minutes only heat from below, is it at the same temperature as always or do you have to raise it a little?

Good good good…. It has been my cumpleley looking for a recipe for a sponge cake I have come across this blog. Congratulations on him !!! everything is said.

It's very, very good. So I encourage you to prepare it !!!!

I only doubt remains. How do you get a cake to lie flat? They all bulge me. It is only a matter of aesthetics but I would like to remedy it. I have heard that it may be due to an excess of yeast or more heat than it should but if what I do is follow the recipe ... what am I doing wrong?

    A greeting and Thanks forward.

    1.    Silvia said

The issue of raising the buns also depends a lot on each oven, sometimes it takes a bit to catch the air so that they come out as one would like.

    Hello,
The first thing I have to say is that I am a mess in the kitchen. And now I tell you, I just made this cake and what a disaster !!, it has overflowed, it has put the lost oven, it has risen, then and has fallen ... the mold is a normal one that I use for all the cakes I make. With how good it looks and what I like the mixture of chocolate with nuts. What could I have done wrong ???

Since Christmas, I have done it ... four times because it is the one we like the most, it works out for me, but it works better when I do it with the mold that has a hole in the middle, (I don't know what it's called) I did it yesterday the round mold and in the center it was a bit raw… .but nothing happens… it looks like Brawnie… a… since it had no yeast I put it, envelopes of those that you have to add 2 a white and a blue one (Litines) and it comes out the same than with yeast…. I also leave the walnuts bigger and all my friends love it, they don't even leave the crumbs ... of course, without your recipe, I could never have known how to make such a delicious cake.

Hello. I am new to this Thermo and I am looking for recipes and I came across this one. I am doing it at the moment and something that I noticed is that the times of beating are few because when I put the flour it was all on top. What I did was with the spatula to finish stirring. Know how it comes out of the oven.

    1.    Irene Arcas said

Hello Pilar, welcome to Thermorecetas!! We are here for whatever you need 🙂 Well, you have done fantastic. Many times, the key to a cake is not to crush the dough too much when we add the flour, so the option of mixing it with the spatula is really perfect. You'll see how good it looks on you!! You'll tell us 😉
