Natural yogurt

One of the good things about making natural yogurt at home is that you can give them your special touch by making them of any flavor or adding jam or fruit, honey, etc.

I in some echo first applesauce homemade and then yogurt and in others I just add raisins which I like a lot. Also, my little daughter takes them without anything, of course she is a yogurt fan, petit-swisses y Custard.

I also like them a lot, especially since my friend and colleague Mila gave me the recipe and encouraged me to prepare them. From that in my house the natural yogurt flies !!

    I tried to make them in the oven and they did not curdle enough, I have doubts because in three and a half minutes the thermomix does not reach 80 degrees, could that be the problem? Or could it be the milk because they told me that the castle's milk is the best? Thank you.

      Hello Gina. I make it with whole Pascual milk, but it doesn't have to be cold. Regarding what they curdle, they are not like the purchased ones, they are like a light cream or as if we whipped a purchased yogurt a lot. I have always made them by covering the Thermomix with blankets, but a friend made the option of preheating the oven to 50º and said they look good. How curdled were they?

    Hello Helena. The sister of the girl who sold me the thermomix told me to leave them inside overnight, unplug the machine and cover them with an isothermal bag and blankets. I have not tried it yet, but I will try it any day and tell you about it. My sister is very curdled but she makes them with a yogurt maker. Thank you.

      Hello Sandra, the Thermomix has to keep the heat for at least 10 hours and for this I wrap it in blankets or you can cover it with an isothermal bag and blankets on top. I leave it overnight and in the morning it is ready. Although I like how it looks like this and I do it very often, I think that for the Three Wise Men I am going to order a yogurt maker.     They have come out perfect for me! But I only made 900 milk. Of course, they are skimmed, both milk and powdered milk are skimmed.
    They curdled me perfectly in the oven. Previously I dumped them in some individual jars and they were delicious !!

      Hello Eucine, I don't have much liquid left, we eat it with a spoon, you can't drink it. I leave it overnight and don't uncover it until the afternoon. I cover it with a large folded blanket and it looks great. By the way, it's a coincidence, but while I'm answering questions on the blog, I'm having a yogurt with raisins that I made a couple of days ago. All the best.

    Hello! I make a lot of yogurt, since my husband and my son like it a lot and I only buy yogurts to make, the recipe is the same as yours, I just use normal yogurts from the Danone brand with non-glass flavors, And when I add all the ingredients I add a teaspoon of curd to help it curdle, I cover it with two rags and leave it for 8 hours, I usually do it at night and in the morning it is perfect.

    Hello!! I love natural yogurt, it is my favorite so as soon as I saw the recipe I made it ..... a disaster, I always usually get everything with the thermomix, because this is impossible, I have already done it twice and I am totally disappointed ! I don't know what's wrong with me, it doesn't work for me. I do everything as it says, the first time I used semi-skimmed milk (Lidl finessa) and I thought it was the same for that, it looked like actimel. So the second time I tried it I used whole milk, I covered the thermomix with blankets, I have left it from 22.00 pm to 13.30 pm! and nothing…. as if it were milk… ..! What I can do?? What am I doing wrong? because I would love to do it since it is I love yogurt and I eat at least two a day!

    Let's see what solutions you can think of or things that I can do wrong! The time, is it 3 and a half minutes ?? with that time I didn't reach 80º, I don't know if that's why!

      Hello Immaculate, I have had them in the refrigerator for at most a week, but at home they do not last longer, we love them !. I do not add pieces of fruit when I make them, I add them just when we are going to eat it, or honey or raisins. I think that if you add the fruit and leave it for a few days, it does not keep well, it is better to add the fruit just before eating them. All the best.

If you want it not to lose consistency, you can pour it into the yogurt glasses and let them ferment in the oven, previously heated to 50º. A kiss.

      now you must use 4 sheets of gelatin to make it curdle.
      1. Hydrate the gelatin by placing it in cold water for 3-5 minutes.
      2. Pour the yogurt and gelatin into the glass and mix for 4 seconds at speed 5.
      Program 3 minutes, temperature 80, speed 3.
      Pour it into a few glasses and store it in the fridge for a couple of hours.
      Good luck, you will tell me if we have managed to fix them!

    They gave us the Thermomix when we got married at first we were reluctant but now we could not live without it. We have had it for six months and we no longer squeeze any oranges for breakfast, the juices with the Thermo come out wonderfully.

    I wanted to make homemade yogurt but I didn't want to buy a yogurt maker and when I saw this recipe I was happy. Yesterday when we got up we went to see our pile of blankets and miracle! we had yogurt. It is delicious and we did it with skim milk and without any sugar.

    What I wanted to know if the next time we make yogurt, can this yogurt be used or should we buy one?

    I use the yogurt maker and they look fantastic. I have tried two variations: without powdered milk and with semi-skimmed milk and they always come out delicious. Of course, if you use powdered milk, they are like purchased yogurts. Thank you for the recipe!
