Classic Vegetable Pie

This classic vegetable cake can be turned into a great first course. In addition to being nutritious, it is very versatile and can be accompanied with sauce hot tomato, if we are in winter, or with a little Mayonnaise, if we are in summer.

The production process is somewhat long but it must be borne in mind that most of the time there is the Thermomix® working alone. For example, during the baking time of the cake we do not even need to be in the kitchen. We simply leave it and we can dedicate ourselves to other tasks.

What you do have to keep in mind is that it is not the same time if we use individual molds that if we use a large one. Obviously the little ones will reach doneness sooner.

To know if the cake or cakes they are well set, there is no better system than to use the stick trick.

Hello everyone, it is the first time that I comment on a recipe but not the first time that I enter this page which by the way I love it… and I have made quite a few recipes from it !! I would like to make a comment about this recipe because I made it as it is here and the cake did not curdle, it ran out of consistency and I do not know the reason, without someone can you give me an explanation?
    Thanks and greetings to everyone!

      Hi Naira,

The truth is that I understand you because on some occasion the same thing has happened to me. All I do is close the pan very well with aluminum foil and sometimes I put a couple of napkins or kitchen paper on top to prevent steam from entering the flan.

Then the size of the molds also varies, you know, the bigger the longer. And if you see that it is not set yet, give it a few more minutes, with the same temperature and speed.

      Kisses!!

Could this cake set in the oven instead of in the Varoma of the thermorecetas?
    Thank you

      Sure Sonia!

You can do it in a water bath at 180º. The time depends a little on the packaging.

      Regards!!
