My sister and I are fans of compotes. We like them because it is a very homely dessert, inexpensive and perfect for take advantage of the fruit that is being forgotten in the fruit bowl.
We love compote cuisine, which our mother prepares for us with her cinnamon and lemon peel. We are also crazy about pears and dried apricots and I am sure that this new version will occupy an important position on our list of favorites.
It has several differences, the first is that we have poached the apple a little with butter which gives a plus to the honeyed texture. Then we have incorporated the pears and raisins just at the end of the preparation, so we get them to be soft but retain their body to combine textures.
It does not have vanilla or cinnamon but has an acidic point of the lemon that makes this apple, pear and raisin compote perfect for breakfast or a snack.
Apple, pear and raisin compote
A special compote where it is played with the honeyed texture of the apple and with pieces of pear and raisins.
