Basic recipe: Vegetable concentrated broth tablets

concentrated-vegetable-bouillon-tablets-thermorecetas

Since I have the Thermomix I have not gone back to buy concentrated vegetable broth tablets ... I prepare them at home!

This is one of the basic recipes that I like the most. It is simple, useful and inexpensive. Although what I like the most is because I know exactly what it is wearing. And I can assure you that when you have any allergy or intolerance this is vital.

It is prepared with natural ingredients and the only preservative it contains is salt. Which allows it to last a long time in the freezer. For me the most practical is to put the content in a glass jar and I scoop out tablespoons. It is comfortable and takes up little space, and because it has so much salt, it never freezes and the dough comes off easily.

You have tried it too, right?

These delicious dishes are not only prepared in Valencia ... in any house with Thermomix they prepare a delicacy for you in less than a rooster crows !! 🙂

    I really love it!!!
One question if I put it in ice buckets and freeze it (even if it doesn't freeze), could it last four times in the freezer?
    Thank you very much.

      Hello Gaston:

I tell you the same as Carmen. I could not tell you exactly how long but many months. So you can freeze your pills without problem.

      Regards!!

One question, where do you keep it? I have read that it lasts months in the fridge, how many? Thank you very much because I have thought about making the pills as a gift.
    Kisses

      Hi carmen:

I keep it in a glass jar in the freezer. I use a spoon to scoop out just the right amount… it comes off great!

In the fridge, I don't know, but in the freezer, it lasts a lot of months. In fact, it has never made me sick or rancid. So I do, freeze and go using until it runs out.

      Regards!

could it be done with less salt? You already know that salt for tension… ..

    1.    Mayra Fernandez Joglar said

      Hello Mercedes:

salt fulfills a fundamental function which is to preserve it. I know that the recipe has quite a few grams but if you take into account the proportions, you get 3 grams of salt in each tablet or tablespoon. And it really is not as much as it seems.

      Regards!

One question: I am a vegetarian trying to make the move to veganism.
Can you substitute the cheese or just not put it on?
Greetings and thanks for the amount of vegetarian recipes that you publish.

    1.    Mayra Fernandez Joglar said

You can try substituting it for vegetable parmesan which is made from cashew nuts. Although if you don't put it, it will also be tasty.

      Regards!

I wanted to be able to make this recipe, I usually use an herbal product but I would like to do it myself. I will try to see how it comes out. I have a question when you refer to 6 sprigs of assorted aromatic herbs, what do you mean?
    Thank you very much

    1.    Mayra Fernandez Joglar said

You can put basil, sage, rosemary, thyme or whatever you like the most.
      I hope you like it!

Hello, it is the first time that I hear about these pills and I do not know how they are used, could you guide me

    1.    Mayra Fernandez Joglar said

      Hola!
These tablets are used the same as commercial ones. A dessert teaspoon dissolves in stews, stews or those recipes that you want to enrich.
I use it a lot to add a touch to my dishes.
      Regards!!

I would like to know at what temperature you put it when it is those 40min at speed 10, that you do not specify it, thank you!

    1.    Mayra Fernandez Joglar said

      Hi Valen:

I think you're getting a little messy… the recipe says 40 minutes, varoma temperature, speed 2… but not speed 10 !!

If you have any other questions, here I am ... okay?

      Kisses!

Good morning, I want to make these pills, in the supermarket I have only found basil and coriander, is that good for me?
    Thanks and regards.

Hi! I love the recipe! Is one tablespoon enough to substitute for a commercial pill?
    Thank you!

    1.    Mayra Fernandez Joglar said

Hi Rocío: yes, I usually put a spoonful of the dessert ones and fill it generously. The truth is that it is a very practical recipe because, even if it is in the freezer, it does not become hard and it is easy to take.

      Kisses!!

Hello, I have put three small spoons in a saucepan of water and it has come out very salty, what am I doing wrong?
Doesn't it take a lot of salt?

    1.    Mayra Fernandez Joglar said

      Hi Paqui:

The recipe calls for 200 grams of salt and it may be a high amount, but salt fulfills a fundamental function, which is to preserve it. If you take into account the proportions, you get 3 grams of salt in each tablet or tablespoon. And it really is not as much as it seems.

A normally I put 1 tablespoon of dessert in the stews or stews. I think 3 is too much.

      Kisses!!

A query if I don't have white wine, how do I do it? Can I not put anything on it or do I need to replace it with another liquid? Thanks

  13.   Carmen said

Hello, can I cover it with ice?

    1.    Mayra Fernandez Joglar said

      Hi carmen:
What if you can use an ice bucket? Yeah right. Although my experience is that a lot of time is wasted filling and wrapping each pill. It is very practical for me to put everything in a glass jar and then go scooping it up. The pasta does not freeze, it stays soft even if it is in the freezer. So it is very comfortable and fast.
      Kisses!!

How much water does it put in ??? It does not put it in the recipe!

    1.    Mayra Fernandez Joglar said

      Hello Tania:

In this recipe you do not have to put water. The vegetables themselves will release theirs so you have to put the basket so that it evaporates without splashing.

      Regards!!

Good night in this recipe if it is helpful for those who have doubts about salt, because to say that it can be made with much less salt without problem and freeze it so that it does not spoil, and also who does not want to put the cheese can substitute for some spoonfuls of (nutritional yeast and it comes out delicious
