Today we make a trip to India, to taste one of its most delicious dishes: chicken tikka massala. As a companion, it is ideal to prepare a basmati rice with raisins and pine nuts.

There are different ways to prepare this dish, with more sauce, with less, with tomato or coconut milk. But today I bring you a chicken tikka massala express that can solve many meals.

Chicken tikka massala, fresh from India, ideal as a second course. Explosion of flavors.

Ingredients

  • 500 gr of chicken breast
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 2 natural yogurts without sugar
  • 1 level tablespoon curry
  • 1 level tablespoon cumin
  • 1 level tablespoon of paprika (sweet or hot)
  • 1 level tablespoon garam massala (optional, found in specialty stores or spice stores)
  • 1 / 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon of turmeric
  • a pinch of ground black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil

Preparation

  1. We put all the ingredients in the glass, except the chicken. We shred 10 seconds, speed 5.

  2. We chop the chicken into large cubes and put them in a deep container. We dump the contents of the glass where we have the chicken, stir well and leave it to marinate for at least 3 hours (better if it is from one day to the next stored in the fridge and well covered).

  3. We take an oven container, we line it with paper albal or parchment paper and we place the chicken. We cook it in the oven, only with the grill set at 230º. When it begins to brown, we turn the chicken pieces until they are golden on the other side. In about 8-10 minutes it should be ready, since if we leave it too long it could dry out.

    Hello Irene. I'm looking forward to this recipe, but I have a question about the spices you put in it: Could you specify what you mean by "a tablespoon"? I ask you because spices like cumin have such a powerful flavor that they can ruin a dish by monopolizing it, if we get out of hand. Therefore, I would like to know if you mean a tablespoon or dessert. Thanks in advance for the response and for the great recipes you share.
